Just outside the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, and walking distance to downtown Grand Lake, this is the perfect mountain getaway! Year-round enjoyment with trails in the summer you can walk, jog, bike, or hike - and in the winter snowmobile right from the cabin. If you like to fish, just enjoy nature or relax by the campfire... this is where you want to be!
Just across the street from Columbine Lake, you can enjoy quiet mornings on one of the two front decks as the sun glistens off the lake. If you are an early riser, you just may view some of the local wildlife, or enjoy the hummingbirds that can visit all day long. In the winter, you can enjoy the same from behind the wall of windows inside this cozy cabin.
One of the fabulous amenities of the location is the Rocky Mountain National Park. At your fingertips (or just a mile from the entrance) are trailheads you can navigate on your own, or guided tours throughout the day that offer year-round spectacular sites. Venture into the park in the evening for a campfire slideshow presentation at Timber Creek Campground, it is different on each night of the week.
If you can't bring yourself to leave the cabin, we understand... enjoy our private campfire pit, toast marshmallows, make s'mores, and tell your spookiest ghost stories!

$300 Cleaning/Damage Deposit ($75.00 non-refundable).
