Spread out and relax in your own private vacation home...plenty of space to bring friends and family. This is a 3 story cabin duplex. Main floor offers family room with TV and gas fireplace, leather couches, chaise lounge, recliner - plenty of seating. Covered Deck/Patio off kitchen with chairs to relax and enjoy the view. Kitchen opens to family room and dining room. Maple cabinets, all stainless appliances, fully stocked kitchen. Pack a picnic and head out for the day.
Couches are very comfortable and are long enough to sleep on if needed. Beds for 7 - plus 2 on couches. Space to accommodate air mattresses if you bring them. Pack light - washer and dryer in unit.
Nearby is Hot Sulfer Springs - soak in the natural pools year round. In winter, Fraser offers an amazing tubing hill located behind KFC. This will impress your teenagers...helmet and safety video required.
In the summer, it is all about the outdoors. Try the Headwaters Golf Course right here at Granby Ranch or nearby Pole Creek Course. Experience the fun of altitude in your golf game. Visit Grand Lake for interesting shopping and local micro brews, Winter Park & Fraser offer restaurants, local crafts/shopping and local museums. We are only 10 miles from Rocky Mountain Natl Park - this is high country and there are great trails to explore.
Solvista is a great resort for beginners and intermediate skiers...blue and green runs on one mountain. There is a second mountain with more challenging blue and black runs. The learn to ski program is excellent. Classes for 3 yrs old to adults....ski within one day. Families and groups will enjoy Solvista as the runs on both mountains end in the same area. Sit at the lodge and enjoy the outdoor fire while watching the slopes and skiers. Let the kids go off on their own...they won't get lost. Winter Park Resort and Mary Jane are 10 miles south and offer greater ski challenges. Winter sports include skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, tubing, cross country trails, even ice fishing.
Summer is great as well with Rockie Mountain Natl Park so close by. Solvista and Winter Park are mountain bike destinations and host championship events. Denver Airport is about 2 hours from our door. Steamboat is 2 hours north, Vail is less than 2 hours south....lots to do here.
Groceries/Gas within 2 miles on main highway before entering Granby Ranch. Civilization exists - even a McDonald's and Starbucks if needed.
We have everything to make this our home away from home - and yours as well. Enjoy!

About the owner: We live in Florida....and wish we could live in Colorado full time. This was our favorite place to relax -high country, open views, and mountains all around. You can see for miles. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
