GREAT LAKE LOCATION WITH ACCESS TO SEVEN MAJOR SKI RESORTS. In the summer enjoy the private HOA pool, tennis courts, beach and pier.
This kid friendly home, offers the coziness of a cabin, but the amenities of a newer home. Two master bedrooms with comfortable King size beds make it ideal for two or more families to enjoy. The third bedroom has a queen bed and the fourth has a double bed AND bunk beds which convert to side by side twins. Each room has top of the line mattresses to ensure a great nights sleep. There is plenty of room for an air mattress and sleeping bags. Large kitchen for cooking and good size dining area.
Would consider a ski lease, or weekend or week long rentals.
Minutes from seven ski resorts, including Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Northstar. Cross country ski, snow mobile, or snowshoe and then head back to curl up in front of the wood burning stove.
In summer, it is a short walk to the pool and tennis courts or it is a short drive to the beach (lots of available parking) with a pier for crawdad fishing or picking up passengers in your boat! Umbrellas, bbq pits a roped off swim area and picnic tables make it a great spot to spend the day.

Why the Owner Chose Dollar Point
At first we thought we wanted to be on the West Shore, but when we discovered Dollar Point we knew this was the place for us! The best part is you don't have to deal with the Y traffic. You are minutes from Tahoe City and there is a 7-11 at the Dollar Point entrance. We can't tell you how many times we just needed one small item (or a slurpee) and didn't want to go to town. The beach is not nearly as crowded as other beaches and is closely monitored. Plus, you can drop by the pool and play some tennis if you have had enough of the sand! There is volleyball, bocce ball, tether ball and a small playground too. In the winter we are close to many ski resorts, but Squaw is still our favorite.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The best part of staying at our home is just sitting on the deck and looking at the pine trees. It's so peaceful and has great morning sun with some views of the lake. The kids roam the property and find new "adventures" everyday. Sometimes they never want to leave for the beach or pool!

Family Reunion at Lake Tahoe's Dollar Point

We planned our family reunion with 6 adults (ages 35-72) and 4 (ages 3-7) children at Lake Tahoe this year and we couldn't be happier! The place was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Having access to the Dollar Point swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, and beach were awesome. It was also nice to be able to take walks and bike rides in the Dollar Point neighborhood without worrying about too much traffic. Our children were participating in North Tahoe Kids' Art Camp and the owners were very accommodating to their schedule.
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.
