Enjoy this lovely four bedroom located within Wyndham Ocean Ridge resort and a short walk to the beach. Begin your day sipping your coffee on the sundeck overlooking the saltwater lagoon and signature Hole 6 of golf course. The bike trail is only steps from the house, and a beach access is located only two blocks away. After a day at the beach, rinse away the sand in the enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower and grab your fishing pole to catch dinner from your private fishing dock on the saltwater lagoon. The spacious gourmet kitchen has a reverse osmosis system for filtered water, as well as a wet bar. After toasting the sunset over the Sound from the rocking chairs on the front porch, retire to the spacious living area and enjoy Direct TV on the large screen television. Secure wireless broadband internet is provided to keep up with emails. The master bedroom boasts a private sitting area with a view of the lagoon and a luxurious master bath. Every bedroom has a television with Direct TV and DVR. There is plenty of space under the house for outdoor cooking and recreation, including a fish sink, hammock, porch swing, picnic table, and outdoor enclosed shower. This property is in the gated Wyndham Ocean Ridge resort which allows you to purchase an amenities pass giving you access to three swimming pools, recreation center, fitness center, miniature golf, tennis, oceanfront beach cabana with chair rentals and restrooms, a tram for transportation to the cabana, and many scheduled tours and activities. Linen rental and travel insurance are available. There is also an opportunity to rent a boat slip at the Edisto Marina if available. Please be advised that Wyndham Ocean Ridge resort does not allow RVs or motorcycles.

Everything about this property was amazing: - the location (close to the beach, with a lagoon in back) - the house is perfectly decorated, has huge rooms and the kitchen is well-stocked - the house is as nice as any home you would find in a metro area, but it is one block from the beach! - the mattresses and bedding were new - the family room is perfect for family gatherings with a huge flat screen and plenty of seating. - the master is also huge with a large bath area, a walk-in closet and a shower with 3 shower-heads! - this is NOT your average beach property! For the price, this home is a bargain. My entire family loved it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home exceeded our expectations. It is warm, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The location is fantastic, with the saltwater lagoon/golf course as your backyard view, and a short quaint walk to the uncrowded beach. We loved how private and quiet the location of this home was. We loved all the amenities this home has. The kitchen is well stocked, and the entertainment system is modern. The rooms were VERY comfortable, and VERY clean. The bikes were wonderful, which we utilized. There is lots of privacy one can have in this home. Our vacation was very relaxing. This home is beautiful and pretty amazing. It has everything one can ask for as a place to vacation....I would DEFINITELY return again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My friends and I had an outstanding visit and absolutely loved this house! Every room was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (much better than many places I've rented in the past)! The owner was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Edisto Island as a vacation place and this house as a home away from home! (While there, go fishing or kayaking! Ride bikes! Walk the beach! Visit Botany Bay Plantation! Spend an afternoon in Charleston! Relax and read! There are also some good restaurants and cute shops on the island, and a Piggly Wiggly that will remind you of the grocery stores of your childhood.)Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This Property is a wonderful vacation home, it has all the amenities that you'll need to enjoy a wonderful Vacation. Front porch is a beautiful place for morning coffee, view the fish jumping in the lagoon. also has a wonderful view of the Plantation Golf course. Home is a short walk from the beach and the bike trails are right next to this property. Edisto Island is a great place to vacation and this home is absolutely beautiful . The morning sun on the back deck is a great place to watch the egrets and pelicans while you enjoy your coffee, and the front porch is the perfect place to toast the sunset from a rocking chair. Our stay was wonderful the house was beautiful and the island was awesome. My only concern is with the electricity in the house it fried my kindle fire and droid cell phone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: I am pleased that you enjoyed the house and your stay at Edisto. However, I am perplexed regarding your problems with electricity. We have never experienced any problems ourselves, nor have we heard of any other problems. We charge computers, cell phones, and tablets regularly. I wish that we or our property manager had been notified at the time so that we could have found a solution. Since the house has many televisions, DVRs, DVD players, and appliances, I hope that the problem was with your charger! We appreciate the notice and will have it fixed immediately if there is ever a problem with the electrical current.

What a great house! Beautiful, very clean and convenient to golf, beach and bike paths. Since I'm the cook in our family, I particularly enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen. The views of the Plantation Golf Course really accentuates the true beauty of the South Carolina Low Country. If you are looking for relaxation and island living at its best, this is the place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We fell in love with this property after visiting Edisto Beach for many years.It is spacious yet cozy at the same time, and the location is superb. We hope one day to make this our permanent home.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This house is within Wyndham Ocean Ridge resort, but still only one block from the beach. It has an amazing view from the back deck and fishing dock. It is fun to fish off of either one in the saltwater lagoon. The home is a few yards from the bike trails and is across the street from Wyndham's covered pool. The kitchen is large with much storage, and the living areas are roomy and well-decorated.
