My husband and I with our three children (ages 7 to 15) stayed here over spring break. This is the first time we stayed some place other than a hotel or resort and we had a great experience. We would definitely rent this condo again. The owners are terrific to work with -- very responsive, honest, and friendly. The condo is exactly as described and according to the photos provided. It was immaculately clean and well maintained with large bedrooms, great views, nicely decorated, extremely comfortable (including the beds), and stocked with everything you need including beach towels and beach chairs. Because we did not want to check our luggage, we traveled light and it was great to have a washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets. This condo is located in a small condo complex and the other condo owners were very helfpul and friendly. There were no other children in the complex, but we felt comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub frequently, and enjoyed the communal grill located in the pool area. We rented a car and went to a number of different sites and beaches including Fort Myers Beach, the Ding Darling National Preserve, Sanibel Island, and Bonita Beach. I would estimate the beaches to be approx. 20 to 30 minutes drive so long as we left early or late enough in the day. (If you are planning to be there over spring break, the traffic is incredibly bad.) Fort Myers Beach had the nicest sand (white) and water (although it is way too granular for snorkeling) and provided a typical beach experience with numerous restaurants and shops along the beach, parasailing, jet ski rental, paddle board rental, banana boat rental, beach umbrella rental, etc. Sanibel was much less crowded, and was a terrific beach for shelling. There are no restaurants or concession stands right near this beach, but there are a number of restaurants on the island. A few things to know -- It is extremely easy to get to the condo from anywhere including the airport. The road system is easy to navigate. I would recommend renting a car if you stay on Cape Coral if you want to visit other places. I think there are several access points to Cape Coral, and do not know if they all have tolls. The main bridge we used to get to and from the cape does have a toll. Cape Coral covers a large area and there are a number of restaurants, grocery stores and activities nearby. Every beach we visited had paid parking and parking spots filled up quickly.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Enjoyed our stay in Cape Coral. Cape Coral is a great spot to enjoy many different beaches and towns. We spent a day at Fort Meyers Beach (20 minutes) and enjoyed the open air restaurants, a lot happening on that beach! The next day we drove to Captiva, loved the long deserted beaches, great for shell picking, bring a cooler though... there was no concession stand. Really beautiful and serene. Another day we went to visit Naples to visit friends. Cape Coral is a great location. There is a few lively bars and restaurants in down town Cape Coral, especially the one where the bar owns a limo and will drive you home at no charge if you have had one to many!!! The condo is very comfortable, clean, fresh and has everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. There is a boat dock and would definitely try to use that next time. The complex is on the quiet side and very friendly. We cooked there most of the nights and it felt like home!!! Am definitely going back next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
