    • The house is even more beautiful than the pictures show. This a great location. You can easily walk to shopping on Magazine Street. Many coffee shops and restaurants are close. This is great for pets with the park close. We hope to return soon!

    • This is a gorgeous apartment that is nicely appointed for two couples with each couple having their own separate bedroom and bathroom, it’s hard to tell from the pictures but the “master bedroom” is a loft style that is very open. We arrived very late at night, and the area gave me a little pause, one thing we had to get used to in New Orleans is the lack of street lighting, and the odd derelict buildings scattered throughout. But, walking through the neighborhood the next morning and grabbing a coffee at Mojo (higly recommend) made us very comfortable.

    • We had a delightful time and the hosts were quite accommodating. The flat is nicely decorated and can easily house two couples with their own privacy with a nice common entertaining area and great kitchen. The furnishings were a nice touch. I also liked it because it was on Magazine Street which is up and coming area and close to the best coffee houses, restaurants and funky antique stores while being not more than a 20 minute walk to the edge of the French Quarter. Fun hang-out and also a good travel base if you have a rental car and have an interest in touring-up the Mississippi e.g. like we did, visiting the southern antebellum mansions and seeing Huey Long’s State Capitol building in Baton Rouge. Btw, Parking in the French Quarter is a real hassle and there is ample and safe street parking at the house, another plus in my mind. No doubt, New Orleans is definitely back in swing of things and we look forward in returning and staying in this place in the future!

    • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this luxurious home with 14 foot ceilings, and modern ammenities. The owners go out of their way to accomodate your every need (they made sure we had a dvd player and even sent us items we left behind accidentally). In this beautiful home you will appreciate the charm of New Orleans, the fever of Magazine Street, and the historic Garden District. I highly recommend both the home and the rental agency. Thank you!

    • We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated home right near the funky shops and restaurants of Magazine Street. After many vacations to the French Quarter or Faubourg, we wanted to experience a different area. This is the perfect spot for someone travelling with a dog. We walked our two pups in a park at nearby Coliseum Square for the nightly "dog happy-hour" or around the Garden District to see the beautiful homes. The owner's exquisite taste is apparent throughout the home, from the sinful king-sized bed in the master suite, to the elegantly appointed kitchen to the beautiful jacuzzi tub with candles provided for a romantic bath. The only drawback is the lack of clothes storage- only one small closet (typical in a historic home) and no dressers or armoires. Like much of New Orleans, the elegant and the slightly down-at-heels rub elbows in this neighborhood, and it is important to stay alert, but we never felt unsafe. Otherwise we had a wonderful trip and certainly hope to stay here again. The owner was very nice to work with as a bonus!

    • We travel frequently and often opt to rent private homes rather than stay in hotels; we feel that we acquire a better sense of the local’s lifestyle. We could not have had a more wonderful week staying in this house. As soon as you step through the doors, you feel a sense of place and history. The owners have done a great job of creating a comfortable, clean, and beautiful atmosphere. The kitchen was one of the best parts, fully stocked with gas oven, grill and range (we couldn’t wait to grab some groceries from the local corner market and try our luck with roux), but what really impressed us was the neighborhood. The homes are truly magnificent. Anything we could have wanted to do in New Orleans was easily within walking distance or an open air street car ride.
