Located in the popular tri-village area on Hatteras Island, 4 lots from oceanfront with wide, white sand beaches (3 minute walk). 2-Margaritaville is a 5 BR, 3 full, and 2 half baths, Caribbean inspired, beautifully decorated, luxury beach house. It has all the amenities for a relaxing family vacation, with ocean and sound views from all levels. Kid, baby, and dog friendly, it has something for everyone.
2-Margaritaville has 3 levels chock full of luxury, fun and convenience. The main floor has an open floor plan with a well stocked kitchen, living area, breakfast bar and dining area with a family size table. The Captain's Quarters can also be found on the main level featuring a king size bed and large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Walk out to the deck and enjoy the sea breeze and ocean views or sun bathe on the outside lounge chairs.
The middle level has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths, each with its own tropical theme, TV's and comfortable pillow top mattresses. A wet bar with full size fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker are also available on the middle level. Walk out to the deck or screened in porch, complete with a 5 person hot tub.
The entry level sports a huge game room, half bath, laundry room, and a full size bar. Amenities in the game room include a 73' TV, pool table, poker table, popcorn machine, ice maker and more. Bring your own keg and hook up to the kegerator! There's also a 42' TV above the bar as well as a built in sound system to play your favorite tunes from your iPod.
Outside of 2-Margaritaville is just as fun as the inside! Climb the Crow's Nest to watch the famous Salvo sunset. Take a dip in the crystal clear pool or lounge by the Tiki bar while watching the kids splash in the in-ground baby pool. Beautiful tropical foliage surrounds the pool and transports you to a tranquil state of mind. A shaded dog pen 'Dogaritaville' is located under the parking area. Take a shower in the large outside shower for an exhilarating feeling. A fish cleaning table is located in the rear of the house and the charcoal grill by the pool allows you to cook up your fresh fish caught in the surf or on a local charter boat.
2-Margaritaville is the perfect family beach house for all ages. It is very budget friendly as one price includes taxes and cleaning fees. Well stocked with baby equipment there is no need to pack the entire house when traveling with little ones. Teenagers will find the surf awesome and there are many adult areas to relax. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and water sports can be found nearby as well as 4-wheel drive access to the beach on nearby ramps. 'So come on down to the island mon and 'waste away again in 2-Margaritaville!'

I've stayed at many places in the Outer Banks and Salvo is by far my favorite. The beaches are wide and the sand is soft plus you can drive on them! FYI A permit is required. 2 Margaritaville had everything I could ask for. The location was great, just a short walk (5 min) to the ocean and about a 10 min walk to the sound (no houses are directly on the beach in Salvo as the dunes protect the buildings). Let me just say tiki bar! out by the heated pool, hot tub and game room with bar, two big tvs and a pool table. There was plenty of room for our 10 people but a few more could have easily fit. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. The master is very large with a jetted tub in the bathroom. Linens are included and there is a washer and dryer on the first floor by the game room. On the top floor is a well stocked kitchen, living room with large balcony and adirondack chairs where we enjoyed our bloody mary's errrr I mean coffee every morning. There is also a crow's nest up on the roof. I highly suggest taking a camera to capture some of the beautiful sunsets. I've checked around and the price is one of the best, esp considering what you get and the location. 2 Margaritaville is pet friendly although we did not have any. Owners were friendly and prompt in answering a inquiry I had about the property. We have already booked for next year.....can't wait!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

One of the best vacations of my life, my family and I had a great time. The house is very accommodating and there is plenty to do. We really enjoyed the beach and spent a lot of time in the family room in the evenings enjoying the bar and pool table. When we didn't feel like going to the beach, we enjoyed the pool and tiki bar. There is a lot for everyone to do within the inside of the home or for family time or alone time. I look forward to my next stay at 2-Margaritaville. Changes in latitude and changes in attitude.......Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

About the owner: Mike and Donna Raynes currently reside in Colonial Beach, Virginia where Donna works as an occupational therapist. Mike is a retired educator who enjoys working on his sailboat and managing the VRBO property. He grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley on Civil War battlefields, a topic that he still enjoys learning about. Donna grew up in Caroline County, Virginia, the daughter of a pharmacist, she has always been interested in the medical field. After raising 4 boys, Mike and Donna enjoy their hobbies of sailing, fishing, traveling and spending time with their grandsons.
Why the Owner Chose Salvo:
Donna and Mike have been visiting Hatteras Island for many years. Donna came down with her dad as a child when the roads were sand where they fished and played on the beach. Mike and his friends owned a permanent camper and came down often to surf fish. Mike and Donna purchased the property with a 1975 mobile home and eventually built the home of their dreams to share with family and friends.
