If you are looking for somewhere you can completely relax, in sophisticated, extremely comfortable surroundings, then look no further than 'The Palm'. At the end of a hot & busy day shopping, sightseeing or golfing, just imagine retreating to this luxurious and exclusive Golf & Country Club home. Kick off your shoes, pour a cold beer.
Chill out by your totally private pool, listen to a CD, then maybe later have a cook-out on the electric BBQ/Grill. You can check your e-mails in peace out on the pool deck if you wish, with your lap-top and the wireless internet ..........and then before bed, what could be nicer than a soak in the Jacuzzi hot tub gazing up at the stars? The sheltered, south-facing outdoor living area is truly private so no curious neighbours can spy on your sun-bathing/swimming activities....this vacation home really is a little piece of paradise!
"The Palm" is all on one level, so no stairs to worry the elderly or very young. One of the largest 4 bedroom vacation homes you can rent in the Orlando area (2500 sq ft), it benefits from two totally self-contained master bedroom suites and is of a unique design and layout. It was originally built as a private home, so it has custom finishes and many upgrades unusual in a vacation rental. "The Palm" was recently expensively furnished and equipped from new - and unlike many of the Florida pool homes, enjoys a COMPLETELY private swimming pool & Jacuzzi hot tub with an extra-large South-facing sunbathing and al fresco dining area in a sheltered courtyard setting.
The pool gets the sun all day and is solar heated, but additional electric pool heating is available if required (recommended during October - April). We have installed a (removable) pool security fence for your peace of mind if you have young children playing around the pool area.
We have furnished the pool area as an extra outside living room - there is a full-sized dining table, and lots of luxury padded loungers and armchairs plus another small round table. Plants, ceiling fans, the built-in electric barbeque/grill, music speakers and adjustable atmospheric lighting will all add to your outdoor living enjoyment.
The west facing rear of the house overlooks the Golf Course (16th Fairway) - we like to step outside the rear door to enjoy the wonderful views in the evening sunshine, or take a stroll on the course.
You'll sleep well in the beautifully-decorated king and queen-sized bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms (lots of privacy for two couples traveling together)- each of these bedrooms has direct access to the pool area. Two good twin bedrooms (without pool access) share the third bathroom. One of the twin rooms can be converted to a King if required and specified when booking. All the bedrooms have their own TV and a DVD player.
You can spread out and be totally comfortable in the two spacious living rooms. Enjoy a game of pool on the professional, slate-bed billiard table in the Living Room. A sophisticated, integrated sound system pipes your favorite music to all main rooms, including the pool area!
There is a separate Formal Dining room.
The fully-equipped kitchen with its black granite worktops and separate laundry room make life that much more pleasant for when you have to make the effort to cook or do some laundry.
Unlimited high-speed Internet access for your laptop. You can make free local phone calls from the house phone.
It's an easy stroll to the Clubhouse with its excellent restaurant & bar (breakfast and lunch). Less than 5 minutes drive (or you can walk - if you feel energetic!) to a 24 hr hypermarket, other shops & restaurants. There are at least 10 other Pay & Play Golf courses nearby; so keen golfers could play a different course everyday.
In summary, this lovely privately-owned vacation home is near the attractions of Disney and Orlando, but away from the mayhem.... All the furnishings and equipment are very high quality; expect to find many extra touches unusual in a vacation home. As owners we visit at least 3 times a year to ensure that the villa is continually upgraded and maintained to our very high standards.

You are also nearer to the coast - the nearest beach is just an hours drive, You can shop 'til you drop at the many discount malls, & eat out at very reasonable cost in a huge choice of restaurants - all within an easy drive.

... But the best part of our vacation was the villa. We were totally amazed when we first entered the house. The beautiful pool, bedrooms (especially the master bedroom), games room, outside patio area, along with the living areas, was unbelievable. The first thing we did was jump in the pool! It was a great stay. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped. It was also very spacious, cool, and airy. We also loved the fact that the pool area was private, and we felt totally secure. The convenience of having Wal-mart, Blockbuster, Dairy Queen and a liquor and drug store nearby made our stay at "The Palm" a good destination.....we would very much like to come back and were wondering if you are booking for 2008?

Hi Ian and Amanda Just returned from a fantastic holiday in Florida which was made very comfortable by the excellent villa we stayed in. It was everthing we expected and more and is of the highest standard and when we return in 2008 will be booking again and would have no hesitation in recommending to others. We have missed the KING SIZE bed which was the most comfortable we have ever slept in and are now off to buy a bigger bed !!! The kids had a great time and loved being able to go in and out of the pool when they wanted. To top it all off we had a fantastic wedding day.
