  This apartment was clean, modern and the location was very central. Much better than staying in a hotel as we felt like we were living like real New Yorkers. The management company were great too, fast communication, brought me some hangers were asked and also shipped back a few things I left behind. Would definatley stay there again.

  Hello, We were very happy to be in this appartement, the localisation is perfect. And all were good. A little noisy, but it's not a problem. Very good choice.

  My wife and I stayed in apartment 4F 29th September - 6th October. We had an excellent stay and it was great to have an apartment instead of the usual one room hotel room! The location of this block is fantastic, close enough to all the activities but not touristy at all - you feel like you're living like a local. There's also a subway stop within a 2 minute walk. The area of Murray Hill is lovely, with lovely bars and restaurants in very close proximity. There is an excellent bar literally across the street (Whiskey Rebel) and countless restaurants. And to say how close you are to things, there's very little outside noise. The apartment itself is very nice, and is clean. The pictures do represent it very well and it is an excellent use of space. Its lovely a full day out to come back and have a living room in New York. Waking up in the morning and fetching a cup of tea and a bagel from round the corner was bliss. Staysmart (especially Ellen) are excellent, and really assisted as much as they could. Check in was a breeze and everything was explained to us. I can't speak highly enough of them. If I was to have one criticism it would be that although the apartment is newly refitted, a couple of things need attending to (just the odd finishing touch here and there) but that doesn't spoil the enjoyment of the place. Even the 4 flights of stairs weren't as bad as I expected, except on the first day when I had to carry 2 heavy cases upstairs! Thankfully Ellen happily waited until I got my breath back to check us in. But even after a long day and night out, the stairs never posed a problem. We will definitely be back in NY in a year or two and will definitely use Staysmart again - possibly the same apartment given how much we loved the location.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  This was our first time going to New York and when we started to look at accommodation options we were shocked at the price of hotel rooms. Our situation was that we were travelling with our 16 month old daughter so ideally we needed a 1 br place. We looked at many many private rentals (again this was a 1st for us as we had previously always stayed in hotels) and then came upon this wonderful company. They are very quick to reply to emails and very informative with any questions you may have. A very professional service! Our room was lovely, a pleasant surprise from the outside facade. Just be aware that climbing 4 flights of stairs can be hard work after a long day of NY exploring (or with 3 luggages, 2 backpacks, a stroller and toddler in our case). By the end of our stay though I think we were getting used to the stairmaster workout! The room is child friendly, which was a concern for us. The flat panel tv and cable tv box are mounted high on the wall with all the wires hidden away from curious fingers. If you will be arriving in NY after hours this company provides a self check in at no extra charge. Many other places we looked at charged per hour after hours or a large one off amount if checking in after a certain time (we were arriving at 8pm). So glad we cancelled our first reservation to stay here instead...I don't think you'll be disappointed with any of this company's many listed rooms. Thanks again!
