Offering the utmost in Caribbean charm and comfort, this spacious fifteen-hundred square foot two bedroom, two bath condominium is located in beautiful Akumal. On the north end of Half Moon Bay, this ocean front condominium is just a few feet away from a white sand beach, and just a few steps further to the water, and a stunning coral reef.

Opposite the beach in the courtyard, beautiful gardens surround a large pool that includes a lap lane. It provides a shady lush contrast to the surf and beach. The owner, a professional landscape designer is tranforming her garden area with many unique flaura of the region, including fruit and citrus trees. You will be surrounded by beauty.

The condominium, nestled between the gardens and the beach, on the ground floor, has floor-to-ceiling windows. This provides expansive views to the beach and bay, and along with the extra tall ceilings create an extra sense of spaciousness to the already large open design. As a second living area, the beach-side covered patio is fully screened and in addition to its comfortable seating has a stunning sea-life wall mural of Half Moon Bay! Simply step outside to the lawn area with your own PRIVATE BEACH LOUNGERS and then 5 steps and you are on the beach.

You know you've reached SeaScape just by it's entrance which has a custom stained glass transome depicting its name. Stepping inside, you are immediately transfixed by the FULL view of Half Moon Bay and our beach. The living and dining areas are designed for maximum viewing and living pleasure towards this view.

There are two king-size bedrooms with full bathrooms. Both bedrooms have special orthopedic mattresses and extreme padding, combined with 400ct egyption cotton sheets provide the most comfortable sleeping in ALL OF AKUMAL. The master bedroom is done in a contemporary caribbean color scheme and has a private attached bath. Its bath and vanity areas, like all other areas of SeaScape, have special touches: the master bath with a beautiful custom stained glass window depicting a seascape and the vanity area is finished out with Mexican handpainted Talavera tile.

The guest bedroom is decorated in a butterfly theme with a custom headboard, and hand carved mahogany dresser is sure to delight guests, and has its own private patio and seating looking into the expansive gardens. All rooms have large ceiling fans including the baths. For additional comfort though, A/C is available throughout the condo.

All amenities are provided for a quiet, relaxing but fulfilling vacation. As this is the owner's private retreat, there are many extras that won't be found in most other condos. Special features are throughout, just too many to list.

As La Sirena is on the north end of Half Moon Bay, the beach is one of the more private beaches in Akumal. In additional to the condo's personal beach loungers, tables and chairs; Palapas and beach loungers are available for your use. Step off into the water and enjoy some of the best snorkeling in the area. In addition to the large garden area pool, there is another shade pool beach side, available for cooling off.

Akumal is sixty miles south of Cancun International Airport, south on the four lane, newly renovated highway 307. While Akumal is a quiet, laid-back area focused on beautiful beaches, snorkeling and pristine diving, it is literally twenty minutes from everything. There are Mayan ruins, golf, nature parks, cenotes, even active nightlife. This truly is the perfect place to create lifetime memories!

Year Purchased: 2004

My husband and I have always loved vacationing to and experiencing different cultures. And for some reason we could never get enough beach or snorkeing time! We dreamed of owning our own 2nd home, and when we came to Akumal in 1995, it set the standard for our dream. We wanted to create our little slice of paradise with all the ideas that we had gathered, and providing the perfect casual, luxury getaway for ourselves and our guests.

Why the Owner Chose Akumal

Half Moon Bay is a wonderful very low-density populated community. We love feeling as though we are truely away from it all, but still being only 15 minutes from everything. And our complex, La Sirena, being at the end of the road has more space than anywhere else in the area. So we have a wonderful large pool, as well as gardens and no crowds on the beach. The set up of our building is such that it feels more like attached houses, not condos.

The Unique Benefits of this Condominium

We love sitting anywhere in the condo and having a fabulous view and gardening on our grounds. We love to go snorkeling right out in our bay, seeing the baby fishes that have just hatched, and swimming with the turtles. And then in the evenings at dusk walking the beach watching the flocks of pelicans fly inland for the night, and then grilling out on our beach and watching the sun go down.

    • Simply phenominal. Our second trip back to Seascape was even better than our first, and we didn't think that was possible! We had our Honeymoon at Seascape and loved every second of it. Diana is a wonderful hostess and the place is a familiar little slice of paradise for Jess and I. The cleaning staff and management were absolutely wonderful, and the maintainence guy was really on the ball! We love Akumal and Seascape , for the adventerous types, it's a great launching point to explore the Mayan and the Yucatan, lots of history and culture in the area, which Diana caters to with great books (and a first rate "instruction manual" :)on the subject. For the snorkelers, fifty feet out your front door is some of the best snorkeling we've ever done. Not to mention the great Yal Ku lagoon and Akumal Beach with those awesome turtles. Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or a romantic getaway, there's none better than the beauty and comfort of Seascape. Can't wait to go back!

    • SeaScape was the perfect place for a family vacation. The kids could choose to swim in the ocean or the pool...and they loved going back and forth all day between the two. We cooked most nights we were there and every time I went to look for something in the kitchen, Diana had thought of it--she had everything we needed. We went to Yal Ku Lagoon several times while we were there...and it was only a block away. Akumal remains one of the best spots on the Mayan Riviera. We would definitely stay in SeaScape again.     • WOW! Perfect location, perfect views and perfect condo! We've stayed in a lot of places in the Maya Riviera over the past 10 years, and this is the best. The owner, Diana, has thought of everything, and coordinated it all just so beautifully, even down to the coozies! You can tell SeaScape is well loved. The beds are a dream, much more comfortable from most places we've been to in Mexico. Since the condo is on the corner groundfloor, not only did we have perfect views, but we also had our own space outside with our own beach furniture. Our stay of SeaScape was a much needed relaxing vacation. Our daughter spent most of her time outside playing, while my husband watched ALL the Planet Earth DVD's, and I chilled and learned about the Mayan people (all courteous of SeaScape's beach toys, DVD and book library). For once, we had a well stocked kitchen. Even though we didn't cook much, it was nice the few times we did, and made it much easier and fun. The full size frig was also a nice added feature. We didn't go in the pool because we enjoyed our own beach area so much. But the pool is the largest in Akumal, and gardens are beautiful with many unusual plants. We learned from another owner that, Diana, SeaScape's owner, is the reason for this as she planted almost all these. One of the staff even gave us a papaya from her papaya tree. If you are a gardener, SeaScape is heaven for you. SeaScape is a gem; and we can't wait to go back!

    • Seascape exceeded our expectations. The view is gorgeous, the condo is very spacious and airy with plenty of room for our family of 5. The kitchen is well supplied and there are wonderful restaurants in town. The best snorkeling in the area is right in front or within walking distance. The front porch is a real bonus. The corner lot is private with great light. The pool area is very nice with beautiful landscaping. We were convinced we had the best spot in Akumal!

    • This is our 3rd year returning to the 'Roo and our 2nd year staying at Diana's condo. This is our first choice for places to stay in Akumal. The condo is wonderfully furnished, the view spectacular, and the kitchen is the best equipped we have found. You can't go wrong staying here!

    • This condo is all that it promises to be and more! Diana, the owner, was excellent to work with and very accommodating. You can certainly leave your worries behind when you come to Seascape. They have such a great staff and this condo is so well supplied...just like you would have at home. I would recommond staying here and the price was very competitive compared to everything else we looked at. This condo is right on the beach and the snorkeling is absolutely incredible. What more could you ask for really?! We will definitely be booking our next stay here when the time comes!

    • The condo at La Serena was such a wonderful change from the all-inclusive resorts we had stayed with for 6 year in Playa. We love the beautiful condo that is in such a private location. We walked to the Yal Ku Lagoon every morning and enjoy all the different varieties of fish. We enjoyed the bay, too. It was fun to speak the Spanish we learned years ago in high school and buy for all of the fun meals we fixed at the condo. Our daughter, son-in-law, and six month baby visited us for one of our weeks and loved it as well. The pool is great and the staff is unbeatable. We have stayed two times and already have our reservations for "09.

    • The condo was wonderful: clean, beautifully furnished and right on the ocean. Staff was friendly, helpful and daily maid service exceptional. Having access to wireless for my computer was a big plus. Local restaurants are great and snorkeling and scuba diving amazing. It was a wonderful, cost effective alternative to hotels...would recommend it highly.

    • This property was an absolute delight....right on the ocean...waking up each morning to watch the pelicans dive-bombing for fish was total entertainment. Snorkeling right in front of the condo made every day really easy. great restaurants within walking distance. This place was paradise.
