Hackett Creek and the hillside stream provides you with soothing sounds day and night. The hillside stream uniquely runs under the home and gives you fresh water to drink. The water is filtered and tastes great!

The kitchen has what you will need to entertain your guests including a South Bend Malleable Range. Although the home has updated features, you can show off your cooking skills with the wood-fueled range. You can enjoy your meals in the kitchen or in the dining room. Both have seating for four with a view of the meandering stream.

The main level of the cabin has a cozy living room. The perfect place to tell stories, read a book or grab a game off the shelf to play with your family and friends. You will also find a bedroom and bathroom on the main level. The log staircase will lead you to the upper bedrooms. There you will have amazing views of the stream.

The Sandy Ridge Trail System provides new recreation opportunities for mountain bikers and hikers to explore the foothills of the Cascade Range. As of July 2010, roughly 6.5 miles are open to public access. The trail head parking is only minutes away from the Stove & Stream Cabin. You have Ski Bowl and Timberline lodge approximately 20 minutes away for your sliding fun. Also a view point for the Sandy River is a short drive away.
