Welcome to the exclusive Scarlet Begonias Villa located in the mountains of Rancho Cartagena (Portagolpe Guanacaste). Just a 40 min drive from Liberia International Airport(LIR) and only 15 min from Tamarindo's Domestic Airport. You will enjoy your own secluded mountain villa on 2 acres of private property! Downtown Tamarindo/Flamingo are just minutes drive where you will find great restaurants, night life, shopping, and great beaches. This 3500 sq ft 2009 custom built home features a total of 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, plus outdoor shower/bath. Custom made bamboo furniture and tile floors throughout. Amenities include an infinity salt system pool with swim up bar, oversized jetted spa-NOT HEATED, rancho with bose speakers and iPod doc at pool bar, custom charcoal grill, large covered terraces/ balconies, 2 car garage. Scarlet Begonias sleeps up to 8 people. The master upstairs has a king bed with full bath/jacuzzi tub. Two bedrooms on lower level, one with queen bed and second with two singles. (all pillow top mattresses). There are also 2 queen blow up beds with built in, self inflating electric pumps if more sleeping space is needed. All linens included. All rooms have standalone AC units and numerous ceiling fans on property to keep you cool. Washer/Dryer/Microwave/Dishwasher/Electric Oven/Refrigerator/Ice Maker. Gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and has stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and island. The second level boasts solid teak wood throughout and TV room with ample seating, 50” Plasma screen w/cable/DVD player and Wireless Internet. The mountains views from the second floor balcony are spectacular with plenty wildlife to take in, -exotic birds, iguanas, and several families of howler monkey’s which live on the property.

Beautiful home up in the hills. Very well maintained and clean. Close to town but far enough to feel secluded. We had Howler monkeys visit daily through the trees surrounding the property. Such a great place. Recommended it to everyone and would like to visit again next year. loved it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Beautiful home in the mountains. Amazing views with pool and hot tub to enjoy them from. Kitchen stocked with most things you'll need. We had a wonderful time in the 2 weeks we stayed there. Easy access and not too far from shopping.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Beautiful home only 3 years old all furniture looks brand new. Awesome views on the mountains and sunsets are unforgetable! Swim up bar at pool is like being at a luxury hotel but you always can find a seat! Great hiking/ walking trails surround the property. Hosreback riding directly acroos the street very friendly folks. Monkey park within walking distance that is a refuge for animals, but has many exotic species. Zip line is within 2 miles very safe & the staff is very fun and friendly!! PURA VIDA!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
