Come enjoy the views as you rock on the oversized screened-in front porch of this authentic log cabin, built in 2004, located 5 miles from Mt. Snow and 15 minutes from Stratton Mountain. Listen to the sound of your own private stream as it flows down the mountain along side this picturesque getaway, situated on 30 acres of beautiful country. Pan for gold in the beautiful stream along Rte. 100.

This lovely log home boasts three bedrooms including a master with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with a queen, and a third featuring two sets of bunkbeds. You will feel right at home in the open floor plan which features a relaxing living room with stone fireplace, roomy kitchen, and dining area. There are two large sofas, one opening into a queen-size bed and a separate entrance in the basement, convenient for unloading all your ski equipment. Satellite TV, VCR and DVD provided in living room and master bedroom.

This year-round retreat is a summer paradise with nearby golf, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding as well as an ideal spot to view the gorgeous foliage abounding in every direction. This log cabin becomes a winter wonderland, convenient to Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain. A free shuttle to Mt. Snow and also several other local places of interest is accessible at the end of the road (about a half mile from house).

You can ski, snowboard, sled, snowmobile, or catch a horse-drawn sleigh ride. There is also outlet shopping in nearby Manchester as well as convenience to several restaurants for fine or casual dining. A state park and enticing lakes are also nearby.   • We rented the cabin for the 2004-2005 ski season and loved it. It was a perfect respite from a busy life. Our three young children really enjoyed taking walks and sledding on the front hill. The caretakers and owners were very attentive to any needs.

  • This is my brother and sister-in-law's new place. I visited there from August 17-19, 2004, with my mother (92) and daughter (18); I was quite impressed. We ended up having 6 unexpected guests (all relatives - youngest 17 mos.) and we had a blast. The house has all the comforts of home. I am highly recommending it and can't wait to go back. This is a quiet location. They didn't mention 2 walk-in closets with heating and lights in the description. There are also birds out there for bird watching. I wish I was there right now.
