HAVE YOUR OWN PLACE ON OTSEGO LAKE. We have 47' of private lake frontage. You don't have to cross the street to get to the lake... it is in our back yard. Always ask if the lodge has lake access or private lake frontage. Many places only have shared, limited access to lake. We are on the lake and have private frontage! RENTAL INFORMATION: We are directly on Otsego Lake with 46 feet of private frontage, a private dock and more sitting areas than you can possibly use. Each of our units offers the indefinable beauty of nature. Our guests have been mesmerized by the view. Otsego Lake is a natural glacier lake. When you look out over the two mile expanse, at Sleeping Lion Mountain, you, like our guests in the past, will find it is hard to put into words what you experience. Each unit has at least one queen-size bed, with unit but units 1,2 and 3 have an additional twin in the sunroom. Every unit has lakeside view. Four rooms have sunrooms looking over the lake. Cooperstown is only 9 minutes or 6 miles away. We are in the heart of antique country so leave plenty of room for what you collect. If golf is your choice we have two golf courses within a 5 minute drive. If fishing, swimming, skiing or just relaxing are on your mind we have that as well. This is also a great place to simply sit on the lake, read a book and do nothing else. Unit #1: Has 10" ceilings with hand carved beams. This unit sleeps three, has a nice kitchen, bathroom, and view of the lake. Unit #2: Has 10" ceilings with hand carved beams. Unit #3: Is on the second floor and has a sunroom, bedroom, kitchen, and bath with spectacular views and a nice deck overlooking the lake. Unit #4: Is on the second level, has queen-size bedrooms, a kitchenette with dining area located in front overlooking lake, and a nice bathroom. Enjoy your private 200 square foot deck while having full view of the lake. Our lodge was decorated and renovated throughout 2004. We spared nothing. Tile floors, nice rugs, great kitchenettes, new beds and plenty of pillows. We have an abundance of pictures which you can see on this site. Our past guests are the people who bring our future guests, perhaps you, to our vacational rental. Read these thoughtful comments to determine if we are what you are looking for.
