Our apartment has the most wonderful , convenient , prestigious and sought after location in the heart of Paris' Left Bank - Odeon area of the 6th arrondisement WITH A FABULOUS VIEW OF THE RIVER SEINE from the bedroom and living room, including Pont Neuf,Quai des Grands Augustins and part of the Louvre. It has wonderful old beams , and new solid oak hardwood floors throughout The apartment is on 3 e etage ,4th floor American and is 50 M 2 .Although we have no elevator, stairs have a handrail, are not steep and we own a large lock up closet on ground floor to store suitcases , coats , heavy items
Geraniums bloom in window boxes of living room and bedroom .Convenient to everything... one minute to Metro and RER C ,and RER B which takes you to and from Charles de Gaulle airport . Walk to all major attractions - the Louvre, Cluny Museum, Musee d' Orsay, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens ,art galleries , booksellers and shopping. Minimum rental is one week , seven nights
Fully equipped separate Kitchen and bathroom are both large by French standards. Dining table seats six . Fully-equipped and accessorised with best American linens and china, including company china silver and glasses , ironing equipment, dishwasher, Microwave.Water heater replaced November 03 . We provide basic supplies,and ask that you replenish those you use . You will save an enormous amount by being able to make your own meals in the apartment- even if only breakfast . Kitchen , bathroom, toilet room all have windows on courtyard.The bathroom just repainted in January 2010
References from previous guests who loved the apartment are available - NO ELEVATOR. Beams and high ceilings. The apt stays cool in summer and warm in winter with its thick stone walls , and there is good ventilation with through draft as it has its double exposure.

We bought this apartment when our daughter was living and working in Paris in 1999, before the arrival of the euro . We just love the location and the view. We have updated it a lot over the years , and as we visit ourselves three or four times a year we keep it in good repair
We have just signed a contract to have a wonderful new kitchen installed in August

This review is a few years late, but here's why... Paris was my first trip abroad and this apartment was my first experience with VRBO. I have been to three other countries and booked four other apartments (all nice) through this service and I'll tell you, THIS apartment has been the most wonderful. The location couldn't be more wonderful...the views are amazing and the neighborhood is wonderful and safe. There are groceries, markets, and very good restaurants within close walking distance, the Louvre just across the river. When you walk out onto the street, the Pont Neuf is on your left and Notre Dame on your right. The kitchen was very well-equipped and having 1.5 baths (the full bath is huge) was great. The owners are lovely and helpful. In short...I think of Paris often and what a wonderful home away from home we had there. Having stayed other places in Europe since has made me understand just how special this charming apartment was. I will certainly be back!

We stayed one week in mid to later October of 2011. Just about a perfect Paris experience. The owners were very easy to work with before and after our trip. We know Paris so it was very easy to find the apartment. It would be pretty easy for a newcomer as well. Walked everywhere. There are good Metro and RER connections if needed. The apartment itself was very comfortable and welcoming. Everything worked. We ate several dinners at home which was fun. There are many, many dining options very close, of course.

We spent a week at the apartment the beginning of August. Even though it was fairly hot in august, the apartment gets great ventalation because of the through breeze, so air conditioning was not a problem. The apartment's greatest plus is it's location. The pictures are spot on with a beautiful view of the Seine right out the window. We were within one minute of Notre Dame and a few minutes of the Louvre, St. Suplice, and Palace of Justice. Aside from that, the Metro station is no more than a minute away. It was easy figuring out which line to take, and if you get confused, every native was friendly and kind to help. The neighborhood was also conveniently located in the St. Germaine district which meant wonderful neighborhoods with great food and history. We walked many mornings down the street to a pastry shop to pick up a wonderful treat! My final positive was the fact that you can take the RER train from CDG Airport to right down the street from the apartment. The trip was 35 mins and cost the four of us 43 Euro return. The taxi at the airport was going to cost 90 Euro each way for the four of us! I am a pretty good negotiator, but they wouldn't budge on the price, so we went down to take the train and were really surprised how easy it was to find the train and then get to the apartment! We will be back the next time we stay in Paris. In fact, we took two days and took the train to London. The Metro by the apartment took us straight to Gare Du Nord train station, and it was a great little side trip to take in a few West End shows!

We had nine days here in May/June 2011. It's a lovely, well appointed and quite spacious apartment in a charming building. Location is terrific with views of the Seine as a bonus. The owners were particularly helpful before, during and after our stay. Lots of good travel books to browse through. Were it not for the noisy patrons of the pub opposite (which stayed open until 5am on all but one night of our stay) I would have definitely given this property 5 stars. Such a shame because it's a very lovely place.

I guess you were told we forgot our keys in USA, but Gladys husband , a nice gentleman, met two very tired Americans at the apartment with another set - we were so glad to see him Thanks for providing such a beautiful charming place for us to stay in Paris

We had a wonderful time in Paris and the apartment was as lovely as I had remembered . We did not use the Dish washer, and we loved the stainless steel BODUM coffee press . your notes were really helfpful, everything was in working order, and we loved the bread at KAYSER bakery nearby . The weather was if anything too good, so we used the fan It was wonderful to be able to combine work with a holiday . I will mail you back the keys on Monday

We are now back in Australia having had a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed our stay in your apartment very much . your flat is in a wonderful location and if we go to Paris again we will contact you to see if it is available . We will certainly recommend it to friends who are planning a trip. A couple of points,- we could have used a couple more chopping boards , and a pyrex jug for the Microwave Also you have a great cleaning arrangement - the place was spotless which was really nice to walk into

We have arrived home from Paris and have sent the keys off to you . The apartment was fabulous . We loved the view and the bed was great. Everything worked fine and we had no problems . You have a great apartment . I hope I am in better shape now than I was when I started walking up those stairs . We had a wonderful time , I could just stand at the living room window and look out at that view forever

What a marvellous week we're just back from. The weather was cooperative , and we never used an umbrella once. The workmen on the rear facade of the building were very sweet. We discovered how to make the VELIB bicycle rent system work- use an American Express card --- even though it has no puce. We flew all over town -- just spectacular . Thankyou for your welcome note . We are already looking forward to returning next May, and perhaps we will bring a couple of friends and rent your 2 bedroom apartment . We are not exactly sorry to be home , but we are a little wistful about where we were a week ago
