We have stayed in this warm, beautiful home a number of times- with family and during adult getaway weekends. Perfectly appointed, immaculate and well-maintained with everything you need to feel like it is your own home. Well located in an upscale, private neighborhood with easy access to hiking, biking, XC skiing, climbing and walking trails of all levels. Easy, scenic walk or bike on paved trails into the main part of Canmore. Great skiing and golf and Banff a short drive away- all under 30 minutes. Canmore is one of our favorite mountain getaways. http://tourismcanmore.com/ The owners are easy to deal with, helpful and accommodating. We would love to go back in any season and highly recommend this home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This location is ideal for getting away and relaxing in the mountains. Close access to downtown Canmore with easy highway access to Calgary or Banff. Relaxing environment, clean and well maintained. Warm and inviting accommodations with lots of places to hangout with company or sneak away for solitude. Sauna is perfect after a day of hiking. Without hesitation I would recommend this property! I would definitely go back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We live in Edmonton but we love to play in the Rocky Mountains. During summer we enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking, golfing or enjoying the quiet sanctuary out our back door. In the winter we ski, snow shoe and cross county ski and then enjoy apres ski by a warm cozy fire.
Why the Owner Chose Canmore:
We first purchased in Canmore in 2005 after overstaying our welcome at our family's home, several times! We have never looked back. The community embraces their natural surroundings. Canmore's natural playground is breathtaking as is the wildlife, the restaurants, the shopping... Canmore has it all. Canmore is also only 20 minutes to Banff National Park and 30 minutes to Kananaskis Country.
