This location has the best of all worlds. Located in the French Quarter near the corner of Bourbon Street and a short walk away from the famous Jazz clubs of Frenchman Street. 1 bedroom, one bath Condo with all of the luxuries of a Hotel Suite. I recently added a new large screen TV in the living room as well as a television in the bedroom. The condo has wireless internet for those who must bring their computer with them. There is a pool in the court yard as well as community laundry facility. This is not just a vacation condo, it's a home. We have 6 units in the building and several stay as year round locals. About the owner: We are locals with a twist!! My wife Angelle was born and raised here in New Orleans. She's an original Louisiana Creole...as for myself, I'm a transplant. Originally from Rochester, NY. We currently live here in New Orleans and have been home since 2009. We are both physicians. I practice Emergency Medicine and Angelle is a Pediatrician. We have 3 little ones 7, 3, and 2.
Why the Owner Chose French Quarter:
Angelle and I LOVE the French Quarter. The music, food, atmosphere, culture, smell!! It's all uniquely New Orleans. When we saw this Condo, we immediately fell in love. A home away from home. Close to all the action, but safe enough to bring our children on weekends or whenever!!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This building was built in 1830 and believe it or not, when we bought it, some of the wiring was dated to when electricity was first brought to the building. Crazy!! It has since been updated!! The brick fireplace is original, as is the front step when walking into the apartment. Sitting in the court yard allows you to feel the age, beauty and history. It's a feeling that is so hard to explain....you have to experience it!!
