This completely and thoughtfully renovated, artist-owned 1840’s row house on Hudson’s main street, offers two sun-filled 1,300 square-foot floors of beautiful open, loft- style living space in the heart of historic Hudson. It features original wide-board floors throughout cozy, romantic gas fireplaces, brick walls, central air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and cable TV.
Ground Floor – Contains your private entrance (for your security there is an electronic keypad) and, through an entry vestibule, the staircase to the rental unit.
His floor also holds the owner’s studio and apartment.
2nd floor –
Living Area is an open living and dining space with two gas fireplaces – fully-equipped open kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer- brick walls - original wide board floors - ceiling fans - air-conditioning.
Bedroom contains King-size - or – one or two single beds - ceiling fan - air-conditioning. It faces south for morning sunshine. Private bathroom - with modern tub and shower - Towel warmer.
Note: the kitchen on the 2nd floor is available for stays of two weeks or longer – or – upon request and catering and shopping can be arranged.
3rd floor –
Library – is a full book-lined room which separates -
Two Bedrooms – each with - Queen size beds - gas fireplace - ceiling fans and air-conditioning and a shared bathroom - with gas fireplace - Jacuzzi - 48' shower, with body spray - beautiful washbasin on stone - towel warmer.
This loft is perfectly situated on Warren Street just five blocks from the Amtrak train station. There is no need for a car for your visit to Hudson since all of the small city’s charming neighborhoods are within walking distance from the loft as well.
Hudson is one of the best architecturally preserved cities in the country while remaining a real-life city where people go about their work. But in Hudson the work is often more intriguing… and there are loads of jewelry makers and stores, Antiques stores, Home furnishings and accessories, art galleries, outlets for the local farm-to-table movement, gourmet groceries; excellent restaurants; music, theater, and art Galleries.
There are three wonderful cats in the artist studio on the ground floor – just a heads-up in case you’re allergic.
