There are living spaces on two floors, allowing plenty of room for everyone to spread out on their own or socialize together. The upper floor has a spacious great room with an open kitchen, dining table, and cozy seating before a gas fireplace. The granite-topped island provides the perfect spot to perch with a glass of wine at happy hour, or head out to the hardwood deck with a gas grill for sunny day barbecues.

The lower level of the home has a laid-back den with entertainment center (including a cable TV with DVD player) and a sectional sofa for family movie nights. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed piled with fluffy pillows. The second room has a cozy futon, and the third has a beautiful set of twin bunk beds. With two full baths and a washer/dryer, up to six guests can share the space very comfortably.

With its wireless Internet access and washer/dryer, this lovely home is equally well-suited for extended working vacations or quick weekend getaways. One small dog (under 25 pounds) is allowed with advance notice, for a $10/nightly fee.

The home is tucked away in the hills above the gorgeous beach that runs between Oceanside and Netarts, with easy access just a short drive away at a nearby state park. The immediate area is mostly residential and more peaceful than the coast's busier towns along Highway 101. Head north to visit the beautiful lighthouse at the tip of Cape Meares, or for a locally-sourced dinner at Roseanna's Cafe. And with some of the coast's best clamming, fishing, and crabbing just to the south in Netarts Bay, you may be tempted to catch your own dinner!
