Park City Mountain Ski Resort is also just a five minute walk where you can enjoy world class skiing, ice skating, dining, shopping, and ski equipment rentals. And, there is no need for a car! The free Park City Transit is there to take you around town and to the other ski resorts in the area. Salt Lake International Airport is 45 minutes away.

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) enjoyed a fabulous stay at The Vertical Escape in February. The house is in a great location, close to the slopes and the Main Street for restaurants and shopping. Each room was beautifully decorated with fine furnishings. The Master Bedroom in particular was lovely with it's fire place, large bathroom and great tv. The owner was so helpful with all details regarding our booking - great tips on where to eat, where the supermarket was, medical facilities etc. Whenever we made a request or asked for assistance with something, the owner was quick to respond and very accommodating. We have travelled a lot and it is the little things that make a huge difference when renting a house. Plenty of towels, a great hairdryer, laundry powder, garbage bags, tea/coffee and the basic pantry items, lovely soap in the bathrooms. The Vertical Escape had all of these things and more. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to our next trip to Park City.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

About the owner: I am a southerner, an interior designer and a realtor. I enjoy travel, art, food and wine. I am an avid landscape and nature photographer and I spend a lot of time in the beautiful national parks located throughout Utah with my camera.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
My family and I love the charm and history of Park City. My husband and I learned to ski in Park City over twenty years ago. We loved the area then and now! The city has done a tremedous job throughout the years to maintain the vital characteristics of this historic mining town. The town is surrounded by incredible skiing and many other winter sporting opportunities. The arts are alive and thriving in Park City with events such as Sundance Film Festival, the summer arts festival, jazz festival, farmers market, etc.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is perfectly located between Park City Mountain Resort and Main Street....both can reached within 5 to 7 minutes walking in opposite directions of the house. The house is well appointed and maticulously maintained. We have a huge private outdoor spa under the Utah sky. We also own the lot next door to the house where over the years many childen have constructed igloos and enjoyed sledding.
