WHERE (is this home in The Villages?) In real estate, the three most important things to consider are LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! In The Villages, ALL locations are great, as everything is never more than a 30 minute drive away, with most of it accessible by golf cart. Nestled in the Bonifay Championship Golf and Country Club area, our Fernandina location is great for many other reasons, starting with the area pools include the Family pool at Bradenton Village Recreation Center and the adult-only Gilchrist and Fernandina Neighborhood pool. From 5-9 p.m. each night, enjoy FREE nightly entertainment in The Villages' three town squares, Brownwood Paddock Square, Lake Sumter Landing and Spanish Springs, each only a short golf cart ride away. Over 1000 scheduled activities are available weekly in The Villages for your enjoyment, but if that's not enough, Tampa & Orlando are only an hour's drive away (shuttle service available to and from Orlando International Airport).
WHY (choose our home)? Because you'll feel right at home the minute you open the front door. This beautiful home has all new stainless steal appliances, carpet through out the home and a large lanai. The living room has lots of comfortable seating so you can entertain your new friends or catch up on your favorite shows on the large flat screen TV. With the free WiFi, you'll be able to stay in touch with your emails via your laptop or tablet.
The master suite offers a comfortable king size bed, large walk-in closet and a private bathroom with a linen closet full of towels. The guest bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, large closet with the guest bath right next door. Both bedrooms have extra linens in the closet and an alarm clock so you don't miss your tee times!
The den offers another large flat screen TV and queen size sleeper sofa.
With the open kitchen, you'll never feel secluded from guests while entertaining. Full-size refrigerator with ice maker, oven/range, dishwasher, microwave and garbage disposal offer all of the comforts of home. The homeowners have stocked the the kitchen with many extras such as a toaster, programmable coffee maker, and more. The kitchen has a table that seats 4 and the breakfast bar has two stools. The dining room can seat an additional 6 people - which adds up to plenty of seating for any gathering.
Of course, much of your time will be spent outside enjoying the beautiful Florida sunshine! To complete your 'home away from home' the screened-in lanai has a table and seating for four and is ready for you to enjoy your morning coffee or a cold drink at the end of the day before heading out for the evening. If you prefer to head off to one of the Town Centers for shopping, dining, dancing or just relax and listen to the live music in the evening they are only a short car ride away.
Last, but definitely not least, included FREE with our monthly or longer rentals are two temporary Resident ID cards (worth $50) which entitle you to the FULL Villages experience that every resident enjoys. The temporary Resident ID cards allow you to schedule tee times (with your own codes and pin #s), discount golf, discounts at the movie theaters, entrance to Katie Belle's (our Resident Only restaurant and dance club), access to the swimming pools and recreation centers, tennis, bocce ball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and so much more.

HOW (do I get to The Villages)? Many of our guests drive from home so they have their own transportation when they get here and can avoid the cost of a car rental. However, if your plans don't include driving and you fly into Orlando International airport, there is a shuttle service available (offered at a very reasonable cost) to both of The Villages' Town Centers and taxi service to take you directly to your home. You can rent a car right in town square or if you prefer to use a golf cart to get around town, there are many golf cart rental companies to choose from to rent a cart for your visit.
WHO (can rent our home)? YOU!!! However, being an adult community (age 55 or older), visitors under the age of 19 may only stay a maximum of 30 days per year. Adult-only & sport pools are limited to guests age 30 or older but the Family pools are for guests of all ages to enjoy!
