Your home away from home ~ We pride ourselves in making you feel comfortable and part of a family. Angels rest is set up to accommodate single travelers or large groups. You will love meeting like minded travelers and enjoy the common areas with BBQ's, pool table and gym equipment. The huge pool is refreshing with a shallow end for children and for the more daring, an area to jump into the deep end from the second floor. Although we enjoy a little silliness, we also understand people need quiet time, so have created a beautiful garden with a tranquilly turtle pond. Perfect for relaxing and reading a book from our library.

Nightly rates at Angels rest range between $35.00 and $60.00. Ask us about our discounted monthly rates. Special events such as wedding's depend on amount of guests, and what you require to make your day fabulous.
All taxes are included in these rates.
Extras (ex. chef, additional housekeeping) are not included in these rates.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: Rob and I grew up in Canada and lived in the Okanagan before selling everything to move to Mexico. We started taking the kids out of school, first for 2 months, then 4 months during the winter. We traveled around in our bus but kept coming back to Puerto Vallarta. It felt good...felt right. I cried every-time we had to go back home. In 2005 we put the house up for sale, packed our cube van and left Canada without looking back.
Why the Owner Chose Hotel Zone:
We built a giant house before leaving Canada and I promised Rob we'd never own a place that size again! I didnt really lie...its not the same size...its bigger. I couldnt help it! I fell in love with the house and the neighborhood. I was sold when I went to the third floor and saw 'my' palm trees swaying in the breeze with the entire Bay in sight. It felt like home. It felt better than home! Poor Rob didnt have a chance.
We renovated for a year...added more square footage, then opened as a bed and breakfast. One of our first customers has never left the Angels rest family. He met and fell in love with our oldest daughter, got married and gave us our two grandkids.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
One thing that sets us apart from most places is that you are in real Mexico. This isnt a fancy resort with someone catering to you or keeping you in a box. This is real...we live amoung some of the nicest, most polite people in the world. The first night we moved into the house ~ all five of us sleeping in the kitchen with no electricity and no clue of what was to come next, our neighbor brought us a giant platter of food. I was blown away! Ive never seen that kind of consideration before. I didnt even know my neighbors names before let alone reach my hand out to them! Within weeks of living there if I called our daughter 4 or 5 woman would point or call to her too. This is Mexico, this is our community. I love this place!
