Location: Located across Kachemak Bay from Homer, it is surrounded by water, islands and snow covered mountains. We have majestic mountain views, without standing in their shade. This is also a mosquito-free zone.

Year Purchased: 1965
About the owner: Kristi McLean: is a self-supporting artist and fisherman. She was born and raised in rural Alaska to a fishing family. This property belongs to her family. Each year she returns to this homestead in Alaska to reconnect with the land and sea that has been so inspirational to her art work. In fact, there is kelp forest shower created and installed by the artist herself. There is a working fish-site on the property, an artist studio with art installations accenting the cabin. Another unique highlight is the 100 gallon outdoor aquarium. Kristi's favorite thing to do on the property as a child was to collect sea life for view in the aquarium and release at the end of the year.

History: Alaskan Pioneers built this rustic cabin and retaining it's historic charm, water and electricity were later added for comfort. It has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. Kristi lives next door and can answer any questions.

Watch the sun rise over one beach and set from over the other.
