The cabin was great -- small but exactly as Laura had described, and very comfortable. Great location. The owners live next door and gave us total privacy except for magical appearances when we needed them most. They also generously offered a late checkout on our last day. The owners are all-around friendly and easygoing. I would not hesitate to stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My wife and I were wanting to stay in a cozy Tahoe cabin, during ski weekend. In addition, we wanted quiet home near the lake, away from traffic and close by to Sunnyside restaurant/bar. We had a long list of wants! It turned out that this cabin was a perfect match. It is a very charming home, with everything you would need. We spent a lot of time walking through the snow, in the neighborhood. The streets around the home are very quite. We never had one single car drive past us (very safe for kids in the street). It is close to Tahoe City and Homewood, and a short drive to all other North Lake Tahoe ski resorts. In addition, it can be a great summer distention, with access to a private beach, a small country market within walking distance and walking distance to Sunnyside restaurant/bar. We'll be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed at this place over a long weekend and had a blast. We were able to bring our dog, and we used the hot tub all weekend. Upon arrival we found snacks, tea, hot cocoa and a bottle of wine! :] The owners were super friendly and we used their sleds to go sledding. It was a really quick drive to Squaw where we hit the slopes. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Our last renters were a group of four twenty to thirty something. This was only our third time renting the place out and the first time not renting to a family. Every experience for us has been a positive. All of our renters so far have brought a dog and we have had no problems. We enjoy hearing about our renters Tahoe experience. We enjoy all the seasons up here and are happy to have others do the same. Tahoe is a place for all ages to enjoy the great natural beauty walking, skiing, playing in the snow, the list of activities differs by seasons, but no matter the season this is always a place great for relaxing.

We had a great time staying in this little winter getaway. It's about 2 miles out of the begining of Tahoe city (real close to everything). This is an ideal cabin for 4 but will accomadate 6 just fine. The 4 person hottub and full size BBQ in back were awesome after a day spent riding the mountains. We saved some money on eating out using the full stocked (not with food) kitchen with all the hardwear to cook up most anything you could make at home. The dogs next door are a little loud when something get them going but if you're inside its nothing really. The owners are great, easy-going people. Great place for the price!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/1
