Whether you’re here for hiking, sightseeing, fishing, prawning, crabbing or collecting oysters (in season) come home and relax in the hot tub overlooking Discovery Passage, the main marine highway from Seattle to Alaska.
While sitting on your spacious deck under the old growth cedar or basking in the west coast sunlight, you can watch cruise ships, commercial vessels and pleasure yachts transiting north and south in these tidal waters.
You will also see eagles, seals, cormorants, loon, gulls, herons and numerous seabirds fishing.
Bring your yacht up to 60 plus feet and tie to your own private dock. Whether you come with your own vessel to fish or plan using the local charter located next door, you will enjoy fishing in the salmon fishing capital of the world.
The island is a nature lovers paradise and promotes outdoor activities. There are numerous hiking trails, kayaking, or searching for old pictographs on the beach. Visit great art studios, wineries, and the Native Cultural Centre.
All amenities are nearby at Quathiaski Cove, the southern hub of Quadra Island. Amenities include a fully stocked grocery store, deli, liquor outlet, pharmacy, book store and cafes.
