About the owner: We are a hard working family who made the leap of ownership this year ( Pre-Sandy!), and are dedicated to making our home available to people who share in the love of the beach and all it has to offer. After many years of renting various homes on LBI, we feel so fortunate to have a place to call our home.
Why the Owner Chose Ship Bottom:
Whether you are familiar with Long Beach Island or are new to this community, you will soon see why so many people vacation here year after year. Our home is on the second floor of a building that was divided into condos in the mid 1980's. It was chosen by us primarily because of its desirable ocean block location. It is just a short walk to the beach, (7 from the beach) and a few blocks walk to the bay. There are restaurants, shops, library, and other attractions all within walking/biking distance. Once you enter the island from the causeway it is just a few short blocks to the north and you are there.
