Located in Ocean Sands Section E with beautiful, wide beaches, and a quiet neighborhood for those afternoon strolls or family bike rides. Views of the ocean from decks and great room. Only 170 yards to the beach access. We have WiFi broadband internet access - bring your laptop(s) and surf the internet for free.
Pelican's Roost is directly across from the entrance to the Currituck Club for those who enjoy a fine round of Golf and is only two miles from the Corolla shopping centers with movie theater. A new Harris Teeter grocery store has just been built directly across from the entrance to section E.
Our vacation home has five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. Bed linens are included. There are decks on the second and third levels.

For the past few years we've spent a week in Corolla, usually during September. My son rented a house, and we came along with the family. This year, my wife and I rented Pelicans Roost, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and bright, with a very well stocked kitchen, and rooms were tastefully decorated. Bedrooms were comfortable, and it was a short walk to the beach, where we spent a lot of time. The pool and hot tub were very well-maintained, and the layout afforded much privacy. The Harris Teeter shopping center across the street was another plus. WIFI worked well with our laptops, and even the one rainy day during our stay was very relaxing in Pelicans Roost. We are planning to rent the house again in 2011.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.
