Paris - If Le Marais is your destination, this is the perfect little 35m2 -one bedroom apartment in Le Bastille. It has a beautiful bathroom and modern U.S. applianced kitchen. Sleep comfortably in the queen size bed located in your own private Parisien bedroom. The large sofa bed in the living room is queen sized. The adress is 6 rue biscornet, 75012 Paris. With only a 3 minute walk to Subway station Bastille, all points of Paris are moments away.

If you have always been intrigued with the history of le Marais, this is the place for you. Located in downtown Paris, Le Marais was originally reclaimed to provide building space for the Right Bank. Nearby, the famous Place des Vosges was built by Henri IV at the beginning of the 17th century. The area is now the city's center of fashionable living. Architects and sculptors designed elegant mansions and hôtel particuliers with large courtyards and rear gardens during the 17th century. Now the Marais has been declared a historic neighborhood, and you can now find trendy boutiques, cafés, and museums in the district. The area's narrow streets, nevertheless, retain the stamp of a medieval village.


Centrally located you will easily find bakeries, restaurants, French patisseries, and supermarkets. You will enjoy the excellent area, Bastille Place and the Opéra (two minute walk), the famous "Place des Vosges" (five to ten minute walk), as well as all restaurants and shops you will find in the Marais (ten minute walk).

  • My daughter and I stayed here for 1 week in November. It is a great location for the metro and the Open Tour bus. There are quaint bakeries and shops all round and the neighborhood is worth exploring. The open food market Place de A'legre is spectacular-go get fresh food and come back to the apartment and make a feast! I was able to shop for antiques from this location very easily. Close to post office, supermarkets, transpo, etc. Very reasonable price for a great location. Owner is also very friendly and agreeable and will make your stay easy and enjoyable. We even made friends with the neighbor next door! Overall, a great place and a great value.

  • We had a wonderful stay in Paris thanks to a friendly owner who welcomed our family to Parisian hospitality. The apartment was clean, safe, amenities provided in a central location close to many main train lines. If you a looking for a good value, I can highly recommend this apartment!

  • I stayed in this quaint little flat during the first week of May 2008 and it was a most enjoyable experience. Don't plan on bringing any big suitcases up the narrow, windy steps, but the accomodations are just fine and the location is wonderful for access to the Metro...The sleep sofa was a full mattress and most comfortable...Our only concern was a non-working phone
