We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was just as described. It is very centrally located - a big plus. It is 5-10 minutes from the subway and a major train station. We also easily walked to Notre Dame Cathedral! Paul-Regis gave us a warm welcome and was available and very helpful during our stay. We highly recommend this lovely little apartment. In fact here is the ultimate compliment.... We will be returning to Paris very soon and we know exactly where we are going to stay!

The apartment was exactly as described, very comfortable and inviting. The owner's mom greeted us and made us feel quite at home. The local bakeries and mini-markets were wonderful; the large Sunday and Thursday farmer's market Marche de la Bastille (recommended by Rick Steves) is close by. (Also recommended by Rick Steves and close by--the Promenande Plantee Park.) We are two 55+ ladies traveling together. We really appreciated having two separate rooms (bedroom and living room), separate closets, and a bath tub. We also felt very secure with the heavy duty lock on the door. One slight problem -- two flights of stairs up to the apartment! There was a mini heat wave when we were there and the air conditioner was a blessing. I would definitely stay there again!

Where can I start? This is the best choice we have made when we decided to go to Paris for the first time. Paul-Regis is an excellent host. Everything was exactly how he described it. He is very gracious and he waited for us even though we arrived late. He had Champagne and Croissants ready for us. He is very available in case you need anything or have any questions. The apartment was close to everything. Paul has the directions there for the supermarket and by the way they are opening a carrefour ( a reasonably priced big supermarket) is opening around the corner (One minute from the apartment). It didn't open when we were there but I am sure I will go back and enjoy it. Staying at this apartment is an absolute must when I go back to Paris. Gare de Lyon is 10 minutes walk from the apartment. We took our Metro from there and the train too. I will highly recommend this apartment: Great, peaceful, and has everything you need and the host is amazing. Have a wonderful trip.

We found these accommodations very satisfactory and Paul-Regis was a very gracious host. The place was as described in his listing and very comfortable. We were able to enjoy having the windows open most of the time but when it became too hot or too cold (not very often) we had a heater and an air conditioner to make things comfortable. The studio had been cleaned very satisfactorily that morning anticipating our arrival. The kitchen was adequate and some basic items were there so that we did not have to go out and buy coffee, sugar, paper towels or other staples. The studio is very close to a delicious boulangerie which we frequented daily for baguettes and croissants; the Cafe Opera just around the corner felt like a neighborhood cafe and they treated us like family. This studio is so close to the main attractions, while not being in the middle of the crowds, that we most often walked to many places of interest even though the metro was very conveniently located. It was a wonderful vacation and mainly due to the freedom we had in having our "own" place and a congenial contact in Paul-Regis if we ran into problems.

All was as described ,great location ,close by Gare de Lyon for TGV, tres comfortable, plein de magasins dans le voisinage, pres du metro et du Marais . Owner present at arrival with lot of information.............and champagne. Great overall. Just the 50 euros extra charged for 3rd person not mentioned in rates for property. Merci

We had a wonderful Stay at this apartment in Europe we made the right choice and had great communications with the owner. The apartment was clean and could accommodation up to four adults. One bedroom, living room, and bathroom with had tub and shower. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary appliances to make it feel like home away from home. The owner gave us clear directions and easy access to his apartment. He also had full information and suggestions for restaurants and guide books to help with getting around. Transport, restaurants and other entertainment were very close by. We were very impressed with his concern great help in making sure we had our baggage delivered same day without delay to the apartment when the airlines had failed to have our baggage arrive on same flight at final airport destination. This apartment is close to a lot of attractions in the city and is worth while to book here. We would like to Thank the owner for his great hospitality and the complimentary champagne he left for our enjoyment the first day of our arrival. It is easy booking with this owner.

My husband, myself and our 2 children ages 11 and 15 stayed at this apartment for 11 days in June 2010. It was a wonderful experience! The description of the location was accurate, the photos reflected the appearance and amenities. It was clean and secure with friendly neighbors. The sisal flooring was a bit hard on the feet and it needed a bit of repair, but the owner noted it himself and stated this would be fixed between rental visits. It did not bother us. The owner met us at the main door of the building right on time. He was friendly and organized and he gave us numerous tips on places to eat. One was a fabulous crepe cafe that we all adored. Ask him about it if you rent this apartment! The location could not have been more convenient. We were a block from the Metro and only several blocks away from Gare de Lyon train station. We ate most of our meals at the apartment after visiting the many open air markets to gather up our cheese, fruit, veggies and meats. Staying at this apartment was the best decision we made. We felt like we were part of the community and we would definitely recommend this apartment and stay here again!

El apartamento no puede estar mejor situado, céntrico, en una zona con mucha vida pero la calle donde se encuentra muy tranquila y sin nada de ruido. El apartamento está equipado con todo tipo de detalles que te facilitan la estancia. Hemos pasado una semana genial y si volvemos repetiremos seguro. El propietario muy atento y dispuesto."

My daughter and I stayed here for 1 week in November. It is a great location for the metro and the Open Tour bus. There are quaint bakeries and shops all round and the neighborhood is worth exploring. The open food market Place de A'legre is spectacular-go get fresh food and come back to the apartment and make a feast! I was able to shop for antiques from this location very easily. Close to post office, supermarkets, transpo, etc. Very reasonable price for a great location. Owner is also very friendly and agreeable and will make your stay easy and enjoyable. We even made friends with the neighbor next door! Overall, a great place and a great value.

We had a wonderful stay in Paris thanks to a friendly owner who welcomed our family to Parisian hospitality. The apartment was clean, safe, amenities provided in a central location close to many main train lines. If you a looking for a good value, I can highly recommend this apartment!

I stayed in this quaint little flat during the first week of May 2008 and it was a most enjoyable experience. Don't plan on bringing any big suitcases up the narrow, windy steps, but the accomodations are just fine and the location is wonderful for access to the Metro...The sleep sofa was a full mattress and most comfortable...Our only concern was a non-working phone
