Great house + great owners = great vacation!
We were looking for a place to stay near Rollins college in Winter Park when we came across this property. Overall, our stay at this winter park home was great! The owners Diana and Brian were very flexible and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable-even sending me things to do in the area before we got there. The house is spacious and has two bedrooms, a nicely furnished living room and two recently renovated bathrooms. The kitchen is newly renovated and is well stocked with various gadgets and cooking supplies as well as some basics like salt, pepper, spices, oil, storage containers, etc. There is a nice backyard with a grill, hammock and various toys. There is a new high efficiency washer/dryer along with detergent and dryer sheets. The owners were also kind enough to give us a key to a nearby fitness room and pool which was a treat! On the down side, the beds are firm which was disappointing for me but ideal for my husband! (But there were lots of extra pillows and blankets). In all, we would definitely stay at this house again when we return.

Photos does not do this home justice.. Tucked into a wonderful neighborhood, easy access to all that Winter Park has to offer. Quiet and clean this house has a great back yard and homey feel. I would certainly stay here again. Updated appliances and open space feel you'd never know this house was only 2 bedrooms. Highly recommended, as well as friendly helpful Brian who was able to help us with any questions and issues (Although we had no issues at all!) Enjoy your visit here, You can't go wrong!

Delightful and comfortable stay!
This home was perfect for my family! We had plenty of space to spread out our baby's play area and be comfortable ourselves. The owner was very easy to get in touch with and the property manager was super nice and very helpful; he was also very available. They provided kitchen items we asked for in advance as well as one we asked for on short notice, delivering it the same night! The house is very charming and the backyard is great for kids and families. The kitchen was easy to cook in and was a fun central part of the home for us as we used it to cook often. The location is excellent. Right in the heart of beautiful winter park. Minutes to gorgeous botanical gardens and park avenue, also easy to get to from interstate. We left an important item there and they found it and are sending it to us! Great stay, definitely would stay again.

This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between Dakonya (“Homeowner”) and (“Guest”) as of the date the 25% deposit has been paid on VRBO. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows: 1. Property: The property is located in Winter Park, Florida as specified on the VRBO website. The property is furnished and includes: Kitchen: Siemens stovetop, Siemens oven, Siemens dishwasher, Fisher & Paykel refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, brita water filter. Plates (8), Bowls (4), Cutlery set of (8), Cups (8), Coffee Cups (4), Wine & Beverage Glasses, Pots & Pans, Utensils, (1) 47" Samsung TV, and (1) 42# Samsung TV, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, 2 sets of linens, three mattress pads, three duvets, three duvet covers, three 6 pillows, blankets, hangars, kitchen table, 4 kitchen chairs, outdoor tables (2) , outdoor chairs (4), towels, foot stool & chair, white leather chair, white leather sofa, coffee table, desk and desk chair. 2. Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of Guest and up to three additional persons. 3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 4 persons, unless agreement in writing between Owner and Guest. 4. Term of the Lease: The lease begins at _3 p.m. on (the “Check-in Date”) and ends at _____ 11 a.m. on (the “Checkout Date”). 5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 2 night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. 6. Deposit: A deposit of $1000 is due at time of reservation. The deposit is for security and shall be refunded within 2 days of the Checkout Date provided no deductions are made due to: i. damage to the property or furnishings; ii. dirt or other mess requiring excessive cleaning; or iii. any other cost incurred by Homeowner due to Guest’s stay. If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, Guest shall inform Homeowner immediately. b. Rental Rate. Per VRBO website 9. Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the deposit will be refunded as follows: 100% if cancelled 90 days prior to the Check-in Date 75% if cancelled 60 days prior to the Check-in Date 50% if cancelled 30 days prior to the Check-in Date 25% if cancelled 15 days prior to the Check-in Date 10. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. Housekeeping can be arranged at an additional fee. 9. Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: • The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or • A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. • The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: -Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; -Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and -Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

About the owner: Born & raised in Canada, I relocated to Winter Park for a job at an International Company. I have lived in Oakville - Ontario, Philadelphia - Pennsylvania, Winter Park - Florida & most recently, San Francisco, CA. I finished a mechanical engineering degree at the University of Western Ontario and and MBA at Rollins College in Winter Park. I am working in the solar industry and have to leave my beautiful home once again.
Why the Owner Chose Winter Park:
My neighborhood is gorgeous with the massive oak trees and brick lined streets. It is also walking distance to Park Ave, Audobon Park & Baldwin Park. The house needed a complete makeover, and I got my chance to use my engineering skills & add my personal touch.

The plush greenery and many different plants along the street add to the charm of this neighborhood. The size of the backyard is perfect for outdoor lovers. The house has the original oak floors, and marble tile throughout. It boasts all top of the line kitchen appliances. Both bathrooms have natural light with a skylight in the central bathroom. This house is close to all the action but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet.
