Beautiful large custom home nestled on 2.5 acres. Built in 2000 and is in like new condition. This home can easily accommodate up to 3 families with 3 levels, 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
This home has 3 living levels, each having a separate sleeping and bathroom area. In addition to the kitchen on the main floor there is a large wetbar/kitchenette on the lower walkout level. The walk-out lower level has large recreation and theater room.
The upper level has a large master bedroom suite with full bath and also has an attached loft area. The loft can be used for sleeping as well.
The main floor has 2 bedrooms, one with queen size bed and the other with bunk beds that sleeps 4 (double over double), this floor also has a full bath.
The lower level has 2 bedrooms, one with queen size bed and the other bedroom is very large with two bunk beds which sleeps 7 (double over double & single over double), this floor also has a full bath.
The multiple levels of this home make it the perfect setup for larger groups, either extended family or family friends each having their own sleeping areas.
Home is furnished and guest may use our high speed internet service.
Enjoy the views off the large front deck sitting around a gas fire pit, that has connecting stairs to the lower level deck/patio. The deck also has a large gas grill that you may enjoy the use of. Guests may also enjoy the use of a new Hot Tub!
We are just 15-20 minutes from winter park ski area, and 10 minutes from Sol Vista Ski area. During summer, the 3 lakes of Granby, Grand, and Shadow Mountain are about 20 minutes away. Rocky Mountain National Park is within 30 minutes.
House is only minutes from Devils Thumb Ranch, which is a desirable place to check out with their pools, sauna, spa, zip lines, 2 restaurants, bar, horseback riding, sleigh rides, wine cellar.

We came to Colorado in April for a quick weekend trip and had the most wonderful stay! This property is absolutely stunning and very accommodating for families and singles of all ages. The view from the deck is amazing and is where we spent most of our time! The hot tub, ping pong table, and open kitchen also make for great entertainment spots! We will definitely be staying here again. And to top it all off, the owners are very easy to work with and ensure the house is equipped for whatever needs you may have! 5+ Stars!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you sooo much for allowing us to use your lovely family home, it was everything and more that we expected. Your kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed and the linens and towels were good quality. The layout of your home is great for families to spread out. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong and watching a movie in the media room. They felt like it was their own place! Another bonus was the large kitchen table…we all sat together for dinners and a few rounds of Apples to Apples (supplies by you) and had a wonderful time. Your new hot tub was a great gathering place after a full day of skiing. If private, quiet with spectacular views (but close to skiing, tubing and more) is your goal- this is the place to come! The owners are so nice to work with! We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here with our family of 9 adults 2 teens and 4 kids! There was room for everyone! We loved the layout of this home. It had everything needed. It was really close to Winterpark for snowboarding, and Safeway for picking up food. We where able to sled on the property and our kids really had a blast doing so. The hot tub was great to come home to after a long day of snowboarding. Dave the owner was great to work with he responded to all questions quickly and honestly! We will defintaly be coming back our family had a great time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved our stay at this beautiful mountain lodge. The lodge is well equipped and has everything that you will need for a fun filled stay in the mountains. The hot tub was perfect. Direct tv and DVD players for each TV. Lots of space to play (ping pong table) and relax. Sleds for use during winter time. The owners are very attentive to emails and are a pleasure to work with. Everyone had lots of fun and we hope to visit again. Inquiries on extended stay rentals are always welcome including weekly and monthly rentals.
During spring, summer & fall weekly rates are for Saturday to Saturday stays, please inquire regarding other days. Also during this time date restrictions apply for under 7 day stays.
A $500 security deposit is required per stay.
We will consider 1 or 2 night stay within 30 days of reservation.

50% of rental is due upon reservation, balance is due prior to check in.
Rates are based on up to 14 person (6 adults/8 children) occupancy, up to 20 is allowed with $10/person/day extra charge.

About the owner: Our names are David & Susan Hoffer and we have 4 children and we live in Colorado Springs. We are originally from Michigan we moved to Colorado in April 1997 mainly because Susan always desired to live in Colorado...the big draw being the sun and mountains! Hiking is a favorite summer activity!

We chose this area because its close enough to home that we can get to this location without a long drive.
We chose this house because it was our favorite of all the ones we looked at. This house is located close to all the Winter Park and Granby activities yet you feel you have the place to yourself. And the house with 5 bedrooms and 3 levels provides room to roam for everyone. Plus the space around the home provides for fun outdoors!
