About this property

We chose to purchase this vacation home after the first announcement regarding the Pleasure Pier and seeing how perfectly situated it was so close to the beach (3 short blocks) and what we liked most of Galveston. Located one block from the Historic Rosenberg Avenue, where the largest Galveston Mardi Gras parade is held annually, and also where the trolley tracks run from the Strand District to the Seawall. Walking distance to numerous tourist attractions, shopping, restaurants and leisurely walks, bike rides, and rollerblading on the seawall.

It’s a little hard to open the front door. Property is beautiful and close to everything. Neighbors smoke weed out there in the open.

It was okay. The bathroom needs more shelving for places to put your belongings. The stairs up to the house were okay until the last step. I tripped and almost fell because the last step is too high. The two chairs in the living room are awful.

Galveston Beach House

False advertisement! I will be speaking to an attorney. VRBO had this property listed as a 3 bedroom & 2 bathroom home. There were only 2 bedrooms with a pull-out couch in the living room. There was also only 1 bathroom and the owner guessed that the 2nd bathroom was the outdoor shower. Come on, an outdoor shower qualifies as a bathroom? Very misleading!!! This put us in a real bind.
