This beautiful beach house is the perfect spot for a fun filled vacation that has it all. This property is located just 300 yards from the nearest public beach access point and has gorgeous ocean views for the evenings when you want to relax and watch the sunset. Start your vacation awakening in your bed looking out to the Gulf, sitting on one of the decks watching the beautiful sunrise over the unobstructed view of the water. While this house is located in a very quiet part of Fort Morgan, it is also located just 0.5 miles from the Sassy Bass, Pizza, and Plaza West Grocery, so there's no need to run to town for a nice meal out or for provisions!

This house has a view of the Gulf of Mexico from two of the bedrooms and from the living room, and all three of these rooms have sliding doors that open to the front deck. There are also great views of the sand dunes and protected wildlife wetland from the kitchen and back porch. If you're looking to relax in the shade during the day head under the house, where the area is fully concreted and there is a fully enclosed outdoor shower with both hot and cold running water. This is not a condo or a townhouse but rather a full single-family beach house!

This home features 3 bedrooms, all with queen size beds. There is 1 full bath and and a fully enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold running water. Community space in the house includes a fully renovated kitchen, eating area, and living room. Unit includes a full sized washer and dryer (so you can pack light for your dream vacation!). The living room and eating area has ample sitting options, including a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. Eating options include a kitchen table and chairs or pull a stool up to the bar separating the kitchen and living room. There is a high definition flat screen TV in the living room with Blue Ray for those nights when you want to stay up late and watch a movie. There is a fenced inground pool (not heated) as well as an outdoor elevator. Finally, don't worry about your vehicle since you can park up to four vehicles in the driveway (and additional vehicles out front if necessary).

Everything We Wanted

First the location of this place is amazing! Roughly 20 minutes away from Gulf Shores, which keeps you away from the hustle and bustle of town. The neighborhood was wonderful and the house is only a quick golf cart ride to the beach! The house was very clean and functional. It came equipped with just about everything you need to stay comfortably. The pool to us was a necessity when looking for a place and quite honestly it was a game changer in being able to transition from beach to home. We can’t wait to book our trip for next year. Thank you again Tony, you have an amazing setup and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Perfect!

What a great place to stay! The property was clean and had a lot of amenities. It has a great view of the ocean without being right on it. The pool was great to come home to after hot days at the ballfield to cool off and relax. The elevator was perfect for our wheelchair bound relative to be able to get in and out of the house. Anthony was great at communicating, from the time of booking up to the day of check in. Would definitely stay at this house again!

Good:Nice place to live with supper clean, nice swimming pool, excellent organized, convenient elevator. Bad: -only one bathroom and one shower downstair near swimming pool but VRBO ads 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. - one instruction mentioned check out at 11am instead of 10am. - microwave, and Keurig coffee maker did not work well. Microwave stopped work at the last day and did not have power, we don't know how to turn it on. Keuriq coffee maker just made very thin coffee, we don't know why ?!!

Home Away from Home

This was our first time to the Gulf Shores area and we loved it. We had 3 adults and 2 teenagers so the rooms were a perfect setup for everyone to sleep. We were very pleased with how many things were provided for us to use while we stayed. We have had to run to the store at other places for pans, dishes, etc. but did not have to for this home. Everything from towels, blankets, pillows, kitchen supplies, to cleaning supplies was stocked. The pool was a wonderful addition and so nice to swim in. There was plenty of pool furniture and it was comfortable to sit in and read or just chat. The house is not located right on the beach (which we were fine with) but was within a nice walking distance for us. We liked that we were far enough away from the busier parts of Gulf Shores but close enough that we could get to them easily. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay here again.

We purchased this home with the dream of someday retiring in Gulf Shores. The sea, the sand, and the sun are the perfect recipe for an Alabama Gulf Coast lifestyle. Lie on the beach, watch a stunning sunrise, or take a dip in the warm Gulf Waters…it’s up to you how you spend your time. Over the years, we have vacationed at many resort style beach communities, but have not found a beach and community as nice as Gulf Shores. We love Alabama.

Why they chose this property

Located on the west end of Pleasure Island’s peninsula, Fort Morgan offers the same beautiful white sand beaches found within the city limits of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach but without the crowds. The absence of high-rise condos means you can enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from almost anywhere in the area. The beaches in Fort Morgan are pet friendly, and dog owners can bring along “man’s best friend” to enjoy the best nature has to offer as well! (Law requires pets be on a leash) The Marina in Fort Morgan offers charter fishing and dolphin cruises, and the Marina store has beach items and necessities to purchase that you may have forgotten to bring along. Several great restaurants offer fresh seafood, burgers, as well as pizza. If you feel like heading into the city, Gulf Shores is just a 15-20 minute drive away.

What makes this property unique

Our beach view home provides a comfortable setting for family gatherings with its great floor plan, the home has a assisted mobility device ( Outdoor elevator ) to allow guest to easily enter the home, the inground pool has patio furniture and umbrellas, the pool is not heated. Less than a 2-3 minute walk to an uncrowded beach makes it especially convenient. Its fully equipped kitchen will meet your needs to prepare sumptuous meals using local fresh seafood found at nearby markets. But if you'd prefer to dine out, there are many excellent restaurants that you can experience listed for your convenience in our welcome book along with activities of interest and attractions in the area. This is our family's vacation home so we make every effort to maintain it in the best way possible to ensure it will be comfortable for us as well as our guests. We enjoy sharing it with others and doing what we can to help our guests have the best experience possible!
