Relax beneath the palms in this two bedroom poolside unit located in the east wing. This unit features a king bed in the master bedroom and a twin bed with trundle in the guest room. Another bedding option is the queen pull-out sofa in the living room. You will also find flat screen televisions in the living area and both bedrooms. Free wireless internet is provided as well as a DVD player in the living room.
Our balcony on the second floor overlooks the beautiful landscaped zero entry lagoon pool with five dancing waterfalls, walking bridges, 21,000 gallon heated pool, kiddie pool with fountain and water spouts, and a hot tub.
This unit offers a fully stocked kitchen with silverware, plate ware, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, and toaster.
Enjoy the experience of the royal palms spa which is located right here at the resort. Services offered include signature skin care and body treatments, to luxurious manicures and pedicures, the choice is yours. Relax your mind and body with a royal four hand massage.
Get your morning coffee at the on-site bean trader general store and then hop on the complimentary shuttle for a quick, 2-block ride to Henderson beach to enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches that Destin is famous for. For your convenience, there are bathrooms, water fountain and drink machines at the beach.
Are you in need of a little exercise? Enjoy the full size basketball courts along with the two lighted tennis courts. Or try out the state of the art fitness center with 2,200 square feet of fitness equipment including cardio equipment such as elliptical, cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.
The Palms of Destin Resort & Conference Center's Sago Restaurant serves lunch, dinner, and appetizers. A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are open for drinks as well.
With so many things to do, both on-site and in the surrounding area, you won’t know what to do first. The Palms of Destin resort and conference center is Destin's newest resort located close to the track family recreation center and big Kahuna's water and adventure park. The resort is within walking distance of several good and fun restaurants. They include the Bubba Gump's Shrimp Factory, Joe's Crab Shack, the Back Porch (a Destin classic), Ruth's Chris steakhouse, Jim-N-Nick's BBQ and hooters. I have stayed at the Palms of Destin before, but I am so happy to have found owners of a unit that truly care about the unit and the guests staying there. It is beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. I called Jim with a question when we got there and he responded right away. They refunded the security deposit immediately. The price was a steal for spring break! Even though there were a lot of young adults there, we never heard them while in the room. The bar downstairs has great specials with genuinely nice locals that we became friends with. Our two teenage girls had a blast too. The pool is incredible, even though it was too cold to enjoy it this time. We couldn't ask for a better vacation or nicer owners. Thank you again Jim and Celeste for your hospitality. We will be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

I've been to the Palms of Destin before, but Jim & Celeste were amazing! They were genuinely concerned that we have the best vacation possible. This was evidenced by their calling me both before & after our stay to make sure everything was perfect. I was very impressed! The condo was immaculate & well decorated. We. had all the appliances (coffee pot, blender, toaster, DVD player) & supplies (paper products, laundry & dishwasher packets) we needed. I had my 3 children & there was plenty of room. The condo is conveniently located on the 2nd floor w/a balcony overlooking the pool. It was Spring Break & yet we were never kept awake by any college students. Many owners won't rent to anyone under 25. The other thing I need to mention was that the condo rate was not increased nearly as much as many others. Celeste told me it's b/c she knows how expensive travel can be & charged less than she could have charged. Wow! At the end of our stay, my deposit was refunded immediately & Jim even mailed our charger back that I left there & a check for the cost of the shuttle that was not operating. Again, you could not rent a nicer condo from anyone better!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My much awaited vacation had finally come and I had great expectations! This resort and unit exceeded all my expectations! The location of the resort is great. It is in the middle of Destin and close to everything. This unit is on the second floor and has a great view of the pool and great sunsets! The unit was very clean and felt new. The decor was vern modern, beachy and welcoming. The resort had a great pool, gym, tennis courts, and playground. The spa is also very nice. The owner was very easy to deal with and I had no problems during my stay. Needless to say, I will be staying at this resort/unit everytime I come to Destin! I would recommend this unit to all my friends and family members. Also I recommend visiting baytowne wharf. There are multiple nice restaurants, shops, concerts, and a nice peir. Another favorite location is The Back Porch Restaurant just across the street from the resort. Make sure to try the back porch oysters!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
