We stayed in Torella for a week in April and it could not have been better. The booking process was simple and the information provided by Italy Perfect was very helpful and thorough. Our greeter met us at the apartment and could not have been more helpful. It is a cozy apartment on the top floor of a very nice building. The lift makes quick work of the trip to the top and the small flight of stairs was enough to negotiate. The bathroom and kitchen are on the small side but the connecting window from the kitchen to the dining area was convenient. The living area is comfy and the TV is nice although we never actually turned it on. Internet is easy to use and quick enough to keep everyone at home updated with photos. The bedroom is above the living area and is incredibly beautiful. You have 4 huge windows looking out over Florence in every direction. I don't think there is a better view anywhere in Florence. Then there is patio where we spent the mojority of our time. It's wonderful with fantastic views of the neighborhood below and beautiful skies. It's also a great place to listen to all the church bells ringing. The location couldn't be better. Ponte Vecchio is about 1 block away as well as the market. We used the little market almost daily to buy simple things for dinner that we could enjoy on the patio. Cantina del Gelato is a few doors down from the building so you're never far from world class gelato. Lungarno 23 is also a few doors down from the building and has a great burger menu if you're craving that sort of thing. Everything in Florence seems to be no more than 20 minutes away by foot and we had some of our best times just walking through the neighborhood around the apartment. If you are travelling as a couple I can't think of a better place to spend your time in Florence.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The Torella apartment was amazing and exceeded our expectations. From the cozy bedroom with the amazing panoramic views of Florence to the beautiful terrace which was a safe haven after a busy day of sight seeing. The staff at Italy Perfect are welcoming and very helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location was wonderful, close to restaurants and groceries stores. We will highly recommend Italy Perfect and hope to be return customers soon. Grazie!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My visit was wonderful. My expectations were exceeded. I felt the website understated the magnificence of the tower bedroom. I had a magical New Years Eve watching fireworks go off around the city - all from the comfort of my bedroom. Florence is an incredible place, and the apartment is ideally situated. I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything went. Italy Perfect is perfect!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Torella was a fabulous location, wonderful views of the Arno River and terrifically close to the Ponte Vecchio, Pizzi Palace and other sites. Easily walked all around Florence, both sides of the river. You need to be very good friends with whomever you travel with, as the bedroom is small, kitchen tiny, bathroom too. Everything worked, although the sliding glass door to the terrace was unbearably hard to slide. The apartment was clean, tidy and in overall good condition. There are too many sites and restaurants to recommend, so I won't. The elevator was quite a help with the luggage. I would recommend Italy Perfect to a friend. Our greeter Christina was helpful.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was my first trip to Italy. I stayed in Rome, and spent a week in Florence, staying in the apartment called Torella. The location was perfect, and the apartment was amazing. When I toured the apt, I was so in awe with the views from the bedroom windows, I had to call the office the next day and ask all the questions I forgot to ask...my trip to Italy was the best trip ever, and staying in this apartment, Torella, made all the difference. When I return, I will want to stay in no other place but this apartment. Everyone associated was very nice and helpful, I highly recommend this organization and location!! Thank you, again.....MarkDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We were met by Cristiana at the front of the Palazzo when our cab arrived. She was very nice and showed us everything in the apartment, answered all our questions and offered up some restaurant tips. The apartment is exactly as advertised; clean, quiet and well appointed with a lovely terrace and fantastic views from the bedroom. Everything worked well and the airconditioner cooled the room very effectively and quickly. The kitchen is small but sufficient for preparing breakfast. The stair up to the bedroom is a bit narrow but presented no problem. There was an iron and ironing board, a washing machine and a drying rack which worked great on the terrace. Internet worked fine. The location is fantastic, just a 1-2 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, very close to Pitti Palace and a short walk to the main sites on the other side of the river. It's a nice, perhaps 15 minute walk to the main train station (we day-tripped to Pisa). Nearby Museo Bardini is a little known gem. Buy Uffizi tickets in advance! There is a great little grocery store very close by the apartment (about 1 minute walk). There are many Oltrarno restaurants worth checking out; we only crossed the river for dinner once. Borgo San Iacopo has several trattorie that we visited. The information packet provided by Italy Perfect was the most extensive, complete set of information I've ever received in advance of visiting a rental apartment, anywhere. I would return to this apartment and would recommend to friends.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Italy perfect is just...perfect We were in Florence for a week, after Venice and before Rome, and only in Florence did we find our apartment through Italy Perfect. Had we known better, we would have tried to book through this company for our entire trip. The apartment was exactly as shown on the pictures and as everyone has stated, the views are incredible. The inclusion of a patio was an added touch. We would start our days with breakfasts on the patio, and sometimes even sundowners too. Cooking was made super easy as all kitchenware and appliances have been included, right down to an american coffee maker and also an italian one, and certain food items (e.g. coffees, olive oil) too that otherwise would have been difficult to purchase for just a few days. The apartment had everything you might need, including maps, guidebooks, and a welcome bottle of prosecco in the fridge! The location was just perfect - central to every major site and museum while offering a complete escape from the crowd and noise. The best thing about working with Italy Perfect is that communication has always been prompt, respectful and informative, from before we made our mind up about the apartment, right up to now, a couple of weeks after we have left. There were absolutely no surprises. Lisa is a fantastic resource, both with respect to the apartments she manages and Florence and Italy in general. Grazie mille!Did you find this review helpful?
