My wife and I chose this rental for a 2 week Maui vacation in celebration of 50 years of marriage and could not be more satisfied with our choice. This was our third Maui vacation, the first 2 stays being in West Maui. The condo and Kamaole Sands complex were beautiful, clean and well maintained to the extreme. The owners had a loose leaf folder on the granite breakfast bar with detailed descriptions of all the features of the unit and how to best use them and we found this to be very helpful. Although central air circulation and air conditioning were available, the large ceiling fans and screened doors were all that were necessary to keep us comfortable. A well appointed kitchen and many convenient outdoor propane BBQ areas allow easy meal preparation when desired. The desk and ethernet connection in the loft was used daily and was much appreciated. We used the beds in both the loft and lower level bedroom and slept very comfortably on both. The unit put us close to some of the nicest beaches in all of Maui and many evenings during our stay we spent watching beautiful Maui sunsets at Kamaole Beach Park III, a brief walk from the unit. An unexpected benefit of the South Kihei location was its leeward location on the island and as an unexpected storm brought high winds and rain to most of the islands during the latter days of our stay we enjoyed mild weather and sunny skies. The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were very helpful when needed and it was nice to be able to do airline check in and print boarding passes with the lobby computers. We sincerely thank the owners for allowing us to share their beautiful condo for our celebration.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

We wanted a condo in a very popular vacation spot, where many vacationers have found their paradise. South Maui has the island's best sandy beaches, and family friendly Kamaole Sands is directly across from the Kamaole Beach Park III. The area has easy access to nearby shopping, dining, and activities, yet offers the quiet atmosphere of a relaxing getaway. We wanted a unit that has an ocean view, and this one offers views of both the ocean and the mountain. The unit has a central air system, for year round comfort.
