We have been hitting the slopes in Big Bear for the past 17 years. We are used to staying at the base of the mountain and skiing in and out. The house was not that far from the slopes, however getting in the car, finding parking and waiting for all of us to drive back home was inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. The house was amazing. The interior logs, really confortable beds and furniture made our stay great. We would for sure book this house again, and would like to see it in the summer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were lucky enough to pick a weekend that had the best snow storm! We changed our plans from going out and into town for dinners and snow play to staying in this warm an inviting home. We had our own private snow paradise in the back and front yards, heavenly beds and a kitchen that completley supplied everything we needed. We kept the fireplace going the entire time. We all enjoyed our nights cozy on the big sofa watching great movies. Great time and Great House!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
