Our 3 bedroom/3 bath house has approx. 2000 sq ft (200 sm) of living space and is tucked into a tropical paradise featuring a secluded back yard with exterior living space, a refreshing swimming pool, calming waterfalls, shaded seating areas, outdoor dining space and lushly landscaped gardens.
LOCALLY
Beaching: There is so much to do in Fort Lauderdale....beaches. We have 2 nice bikes to cruise up and down Jimmy Buffet’s A1A and enjoy the stylish hotels, tasty restaurants/cafes and beaches. Simply relax and sunbath under the swaying coconut palms or stroll along the seashore looking for shells. Oh, …and did we mention the beaches?
Boating: Known as the ‘Venice of America”, Fort Lauderdale has more waterways than any other city the world over. Take a deep-sea fishing tour, a day trip sailing to Nassau or simply boat up and down the hundreds of canals in one of our local water-taxi’s.
Big Boating: South Florida just happens to be the world’s largest cruise ship port giving you access to the all the islands of the Caribbean, ports of call in Central and South America and beyond.
REGIONALLY
Orlando: launching point for day trips to Disney, Key West and South Beach. Leave early, have a blast in these tourist destinations and still make it back for night swims in the lit pool. The world’s most popular tourist destination is but a 3 hour drive north. Home to Disney World, Universal, SeaWorld, numerous waterparks and other attractions. It is but a day trip away.
Key West: 2 hour drive south to the Florida Keys. Dive in Key Largo, fish in Marathon, and enjoy Margaretville and “Land’s End” of Key West.
Miami: We are very close to the unequalled night-life of South Beach. Experience all the glitz and glamour of the ART-Deco District, the fashion of Lincoln Road Mall and the unique quirkiness of Cocoanut Grove.
For the Nature-Lover:
Everglades National Park: One hour west of our home puts you in the middle of the the largest ‘River of Grass’, the Everglades of South Florida . Explore native Seminole and Miccosukee reservations which recreate the historical way of life. Various campgrounds within offer trailer & tent camping with kayaking or paddle boarding in which to experience the native wildlife up close …..even the alligators!!!
For the Adventurer:
Our marinas and ports provide charters for fishing, boating, diving and snorkelling. Numerous water sports rentals such as jet-skiing, wakeboarding, para-sailing, etc. can be found at several locations within a few minutes’ drive.

We loved staying at this house. It felt like my home away from home! The owner is very helpful and communicates as much as needed. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for our two small families to hang out. The kitchen is small but very well organized. We never ran out of space! The location is within minutes of a big shopping area and great local restaurants and grocery stores. It's also within minutes of the beach. We would definitely stay there again! The weather was much cooler than usual the week we were there so we were not able to use the pool, but hopefully next time we'll get to enjoy it. A++++Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for all your thoughtful remarks. We hope to have more families visit as precious as yours.

We had a great experience in this house. It is warm and inviting, cute and comfortable. The three bedrooms were great for my family. One of the rooms is smaller with twin beds for the kids and the other two rooms were almost identical - larger size master suites. The house is on a quite, nice street about a mile or two from the beach. It has a pool and a nice back yard for outdoor dining and hanging out. We highly recommend this house, especially for families coming to South Florida for a visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: We were so thankful for the kindness of our first renters. They allowed us to look at our home thru the vacation renter's eyes which led us to make a few changes. Thank you for all your suggestions and encouraging words.
