This is a Saturday-to-Saturday vacation rental. Check-in/out dates other than Saturday for stays longer than 7 nights may be available upon request.

We had a wonderful week! We loved Sanibel Island, a very relaxing place to visit. Our condo was very comfortable, with all the comforts of home, and nicely decorated, and with easy access to the beach. We enjoyed shelling, great restaurants, biking,and we even did a Dolphin Cruise.... We would come back again! We have already told family and friends about our stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

CHECK-IN: Check-In is 3pm but is not guaranteed. Guest should not expect to take occupancy sooner than 3pm. Check-in may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control. Rate adjustments will not be made for late check-in or early departures. CHECKOUT: Checkout is 10am. Guest that fail to check out by 10am will be charged half day’s rent up to 1pm and a full day’s rent charged if after 1pm.

About the owner: We fell in love with the unique island of Sanibel from the first moment we arrived there. The white powder sandy beach, tranquil water and the relaxed atmosphere are exactly what we were looking for in a vacation. The shelling, fishing and restaurants keep bringing us back. There's no place we'd rather be... We hope you love it as much as we do.

SANIBEL and Captiva ISLANDS, FL (Money Magazine) - Suggesting Florida for the family's winter getaway probably won't garner you a reputation as a discriminating traveler -- until, that is, you mention the islands of Sanibel and Captiva.
Located on the Gulf Coast, just 45 minutes from Fort Myers airport via a narrow three-mile causeway, Sanibel and its smaller sister Captiva are not unknown -- the islands have long been considered one of the best places in the world for shelling -- but news of their tranquil beauty, pristine white sand beaches and laid-back charm has spread primarily by word of mouth.
Sanibel and Captiva are a beach lover's paradise. And thanks to visionary land-use regulations -- no building along Sanibel's coast can be taller than a palm tree, and half of the land is a federal wildlife reserve -- it might just stay that way. Together the islands offer 17 miles of public beaches and an endless array of activities. Among the most popular: cruising Sanibel's 26 miles of paved bike paths and J.N.
