  Well, we went back a second time, early April, and everything was perfection again. Hard to believe such a sleepy, clean little town can have survived so near to Cancun. Abbey del Sol is the best place to be, close to everything, always someone nearby to help with questions, such a lovely environment. Abby and her staff have our sincere thanks for a wonderful week.

  This was the first vacation we have ever had, where we were not happy to be going home. What a charming and welcoming place. The beaches, snorkeling, restaurants and people made this a really perfect experience.

  This January was my third visit to Abbey del Sol in about a year and a half. I obviously love it! The traditional decor, clean and quiet apartments, quaint garden with pool and the rooftop "bird's nest" patio make it a wonderful place to stay. I love staying in Puerto Morelos because it's laid back and inexpensive yet has all the amenities that Cancun has to offer. I highly recommend it. You'll be charmed!!

  Mi estancia en Abbey del Sol fue sorprendente, el departamento y toda la Casa en su conjunto es algo Fantastico, las instalaciones bellamente mantenidas por Efrain "Jim", especialemente el Jardin y Alberca, es un peque~no paraiso que solo de la mano de un experto se puede mantener asi. Efrain al igual que toda su familia son personas de excelente y calido trato siempre dispuestas a ayudar, su peque~na Mildred y mis hijos pasaron horas interminables en la alberca jugando y haciendo un ruido tremendo (espero que no haya incomodado a los vecinos), estos fueron los 15 dias (si mas de dos semanas) mejores de vida, habia estado varias veces en Cancun (la ultima en '93), pero nada como Puerto Morelos, es un sitio que aun guarda realmente la belleza y magia del Caribe Mexicano aun sin explorar, sin ser un lugar sintetico como su vecino Cancun, ademas de que esta estrategicamente ubicado para tomarlo como punto de partida para salidas a otros sitios de interes en la riviera maya. Aun no dejabamos el lugar y estabamos pensando ya en volver para nuestras proximas vacaciones, quiza en el Verano del '98. Gracias Abby por permitir nuestra estancia en Tu Casa estas Vacaciones, espero estar de regreso pronto por alla!!

  Had a wonderful time at Abbey Del Sol march 4-10 2007. Very nice place to stay, both your home and the town of PM. It was wonderful to sit in the pool and cool off on those hot days. Great place to get some peace and quiet as well as some sun. Jim was better than we could have hoped for, sure made the airport easy. We managed Chichen Itza and Ek Balam visits too.   we stayed at Abbey Del Sol for a week, renting appt. 1 and 2. It was a great vacation, nice town, good food and great location to see all the differnt sights.

  My family and I have been avid travelers throughout the Mexican Riviera for the past 18 years, and for the past three years I have found my paradise in Puerto Morelos. Playa del Carmen exploded with tourists and that was not what I was looking for, so I found Abbey del Sol. I travel internationally for work and pleasure and stay in excellent hotels. Abbey del Sol has so much more to offer than a large chain or an all-inclusive. It is hospitality that you will not find in any other place. Since Abbey del Sol is owned by a husband and wife, I have found both touches are here on the property. They are so helpful with any question or concern that I might have, and having an on-site manager (who speaks English and is here with his family), everything is taken care of immediately. I have been here for the last three years within a larger group of family and friends, as well as by myself for four weeks. I have personally seen all of the wonderful additions that have been made to the property that make Abbey del Sol exceed other five star resorts. It has everything that I need and when I have to leave to go home, I feel refreshed, relaxed, and sad to leave paradise.

  Abby, your home was beautiful and perfect for our needs during this trip. We stayed in Apt #2 which was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable with all the ammenities of home. Jim is a true asset to have on site as he was always helpful, pleasant and available to meet our needs. We were impressed by the work Jim does to maintain the beauty of your home, both interior and exterior. Thanks again, Abby, you have a gorgeous home and we will be back soon! Ian and Karen McRae

  Our family of 13 used Abbey from June 11 through June 25. The new remodeling is fantastic. The grounds are immaculate. Jimmy is as helpful as can be. We felt at home and used the entire residence and the 3 apartments. They have a new observation deck on the 3rd floor. Its a great place to view the sites, enjoy down time for reading and resting. The Villa is quiet and very safe. We thoroughly enjoyed the town of Puerto Morelos. Please contact if you have further questions. We have requested time for the summer of 2007 already.
