    • We just got back from two days at the Two's Company cabin. It was so relaxing. It is a cute, clean cabin among beautiful woods with a lovely pond just steps away. The people in the community are friendly. Lovely countryside. If you want to just get away from the city and remember what it means to really relax, this is the place to go.

    • This was our second visit to Cabins at the Pond, this time we brought our two children and they loved it we spent our whole vacation swimming, feeding the fish, and just enjoying being alone as a family, and it was wonderful. My Husband and I are scheduling our third trip right now. To anyone who has never been here, you are truely missing out on a wonderful place.

    • This is the most relaxing vacation ever! My 10 year old daughter caught fish all day long every day we were there. It was very private, but we did get a visit from a couple of friendly local dogs that were just adorable. This is more like a well kept chalet than a cabin. The Horsts go out of their way to be sure you have everything you need. We (can you believe) forgot our fishing poles and stopped to purchase one, but when we arrived, there were 2 more new ones in the boat house we were able to borrow!! Also, they had a bass boat & life jackets!! I think the Horsts are very generous in allowing strangers to stay at this wonderful property of theirs and I hope everyone appreciates it as much as we did and leaves it in the beautiful condition we found it in. Absolutlely lovely!! Highly recommended to responsible caring individuals.

    • My husband and I and our 11 year old son just returned from Whippoorwill Cabin. (July 4 - 7, 2007) We were very impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the cabin, the easy access to the well stocked pond, and all the little extras in the cabin. We caught plenty of Bluegill and one large bass. The peace and quiet was my favorite part. I was a little nervous that my husband and son would miss having cable TV but they did not even comment on it. We stayed outside almost all the time and spent our evenings watching a movie or listening to old mystery radio programs we had brought from home. (They can be rented at your local library.) We went to the little shops each afternoon for some homemade apple pies and cinnamon rolls. This cabin is ideal for a family who wants to spend some time togeter relaxing rather than running around a busy amusement park. It is amazing how much enjoyment there can be in just "sittin' and doing nothin'" as the sign on the porch says. We look forward to a return trip soon.

    • 3/20/07 We loved "Two's Company". It was a wonderful relaxing time away from the everyday stress of our lives. If you are looking for a place to go for total peace and solitude and a renewal of your body & spirit, then this is the cabin for you. It is perfect for a couple or single person. The whole Muddy Pond community is gracious and warm. We enjoyed meeting the people that live there and the shops. We loved our time there so much, we scheduled a return trip to try the other cabin later this year. Try it, you will NOT be dissappointed. Deborah & Gil Dyer Nashville, TN 37206
