This charming, quiet, tastefully decorated house is lovingly called, 'The Bungalow' as it was named by the owner's parents. It is currently available only in the summer and fall months (beginning of June until Columbus Day weekend). It is a bi-level, open floor plan retreat, with bedrooms on the first floor and living/dining/kitchen areas on the top floor. The main floor is flanked by 2 decks and is kept bright by the wall of windows with views to the large front lawn and gorgeous water beyond. This vacation house is perfect for a family of up to 5, or is a romantic, spacious hideaway for a couple. Wake up to a peaceful view of the pond from the master bedroom, have coffee in the sun on the deck or dock, and go for a refreshing swim or paddle in one of our kayaks as part of your daily routine. The cozy town of Kingfield with its quaint shops, galleries, and restaurants, including the renowned Orange Cat Cafe is minutes down the road. Or, head North to the Sugarloaf Mountain area (14 miles) for great hiking, biking, zip lining, and golfing. Please excuse our limited photos, which were taken in early december after the bungalow was winterized. We will update photos in the spring!

We stayed at this place for 2 weeks..Awesome weather and great getaway. This camp is more like a house, right on the water, quiet spot to sit and read a book in the sunbeam. Loons aplenty The pond is clean and refreshing, great to swim and fish...You won't be disappointedRecommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1993
About the owner: Our family has grown up in the Kingfield area, and currently resides there. We have always had family get together at the Bungalow, and continue to use and maintain it for ourselves when not in use by vacationers.
Why the Owner Chose Kingfield:
The Bungalow was a generous gift from our parents, who had always owned property on Tufts pond, including the property just down the way.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Have your lunch or dinner in the cool shade of the Gazebo by the water, take advantage of the onsite Kayaks, bathe in the sun, or cozy up on one of the plush couches with a book (glancing up at the view once and a while!)...whatever you do during your vacation week, this lovely spot will surely rejuvenate you and your soul.
