When I decided to take my 2 girls, ages 21 and 24, to New Orleans for a "Girls Getaway" , I opted on a rental rather than hotel for a more authentic flavor of the French Quarter. This property fit us perfectly. It was just as described... newly renovated, tastefully decorated, immaculate and centrally located so we were able to walk everywhere. From the moment we pulled up in front of the cottage, we fell in love with it. Opening the door we felt right at home! I can't tell you how many times during our stay that my girls commented on how happy they were that I had chosen this cottage, how much they loved the place and how this choice had enhanced their experience in NOLA. The owner was very responsive and did everything possible to accommodate our travel needs. Thanks so much! As this was our first time to New Orleans, we started our visit with a Tastebuds Tour and Cocktail Tour for a quick exposure to the cuisine and ended the week with a swamp tour with Airboat Adventures. We all agreed that it was a great way to sandwich our visit! We will be back again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We were the first to stay after remodel. It truly feels like a home with the attention to details and furnishings. I visit Nola several times a year and didn't want to leave such a glowing review because we intend to rent this place again and again and want it to be available. :-) Owners were available 24/7, so don't worry about off-site management, we arrived really late and had a question and they were there on the phone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I recently returned from a three night stay in this wonderful apartment. It is a few blocks from Bourbon Street, yet quiet enough to get a great night's sleep. The shotgun style apartment is newly renovated and tastefully decorated to make you feel as if you are living in The Quarter. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a modern bathroom with shower. There is even a small courtyard out back to enjoy a cup of coffee on a breezy morning. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating, no matter the time. I hope to have the opportunity to stay in this property again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Our family purchased this house in Feb, of 2012 in the French Qtr, It is a free standing unit built around 1885 and has been renovated to the highest standards. We have a love of all properties with history in this area of New Orleans.

The house is free standing and not a condominium arrangement. This unit gives us the unique distinction of being in the center of all the activities (Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival, French Qtr Festival and Halloween activities) . We can walk to and enjoy any of the festivities in less than 10 minutes.
