Coal Creek Cabin. Beautifully renovated, post and beam, Victorian home in the historic, sought-after West End of Crested Butte. New paint, carpet, linens, and furniture in 2004. Skylights and large windows provide warmth and light. The HOT TUB is nestled beneath spruce and aspen trees with views of Mount Gothic and Red Lady. The views are even more spectacular from the second-story deck off the master suite.
The master bedroom is finished completely in pristine aspenwood and lodgepole furniture and offers TV, VCR, and large closet. The loft outside the master bedroom can be used as sitting area (TV, DVD, phone, beanbags) and/or additional sleeping space with daybed and trundle. Two downstairs bedrooms include a queen-size bed and desk, and bunk beds (with full on bottom). The family room has a large TV, DVD, stereo, and new leather sofa with queen-size sleeper. Saltillo tile and gas stove complete the cozy atmosphere.
Large, fenced yard on quiet street, yet short walk to world-class restaurants, coffee, shops, galleries, mountain shuttle. Plus, hiking and skate park in summer, ice arena, sleigh rides, and sledding hill in winter are all steps away.
Nearby Gunnison Airport is serviced by United, Continental, and Delta Airlines. Car rentals available. Shuttle service from Gunnison to Crested Butte provided by Alpine Express.
