  Wonderful vacation condo ! Condo was clean and very well maintained. Stocked with everything you need for cooking. Great location, we loved that the beaches are only a short drive away. Great grocery store only minutes away as well. We will stay here again and recommend this condo to others ! Thanks for letting us stay, we had a wonderful and relaxing time.

  Our family absolutely loved our stay at the Hale Wailele rental in Hawaii's Waikoloa Beach Colony Villas. The house was gorgeous - well decorated, immaculately kept, and totally comfortable - with everything we needed for a fun family stay. With Netflix on the tv, a gorgeous pool, hot tub and barbecues right outside the back door, and world class golf courses all around, everyone was delighted with the house! Hale Wailele is also perfectly located for exploring all of the Big Island. We rented a car for the week and easily saw everything around the island, with a lovely home to relax in when the day was done. There are lots of shops and restaurants close by, and Kevin was wonderful about making suggestions about great tours and great resources to consider. We would be thrilled to come back to Hale Wailele in the future and would recommend it to anyone considering a excellent vacation to Hawaii's Big Island.

  I had the pleasure of staying within the Waikoloa Colony Villas from December 8 - 15, 2012. 3 of my girl friends and I made the trip to Hawaii to witness my brother get married. With all of us being in the wedding party, we were looking for a quiet place, with no hassles...just pure relaxation so we could focus on the big day, December 12, 2012. Our condo was beyond perfect! Very spacious and cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed in (I'm in the hotel/resort industry as a career). The full kitchen made it very easy to whip together quick meals on the go during the day and make delicious, full meals in the evening. The master bedroom was enormous with an en-suite bathroom bigger than my own bedroom at home! Kevin, our condo manager, provided us with so much information prior to our arrival with different coffee bean tours, directions to snorkeling locations and restaurant ideas. Being this was my first time to any Hawaiian Island, he certainly helped make me feel welcomed and eased my mind on the big trip! Thank you Kevin! This Villa is simply perfect for a quiet, relaxing get away! The weather was absolutely perfect each and every day. I would recommend Waikoloa to anyone who wants to get away and just relax by the pool side.

  We've taken our family here twice now and both times we found it tough to leave. Our family of five fit comfortably thanks to the sofa sleeper in the main living area. Barbecues are generally available for cooking each night. The upstairs balcony offers great views and a relaxing spot for drinking a cup or three of Kona coffee. If there's a complaint it would be that, with only one pool key, coming and going isn't as easy as I'd like. But keeping the pool area locked also has benefits. Small kids can't just wander away, and strangers can't just wander in. Tips: 1. Go to Costco or Safeway (or both) soon after you arrive to stock up. You'll find both stores south of the airport. 2. Bring really good walking shoes. My 15-year-old hiking boots didn't survive the King's Trail (lava rock walkway next to the development) this last trip. 3. Walk to the Hilton. It's a short distance and you'll get all the scenery benefits those staying there enjoy, but without paying the premium. Order a Lava Flow cocktail with the savings you'll enjoy cooking your own food. After staying here, I really can't imagine going back to the trouble and expense of staying at a hotel in Hawaii. The cost and space advantages are too great, and come with very few scenery sacrifices.

  We booked this Waikoloa Villa by end of Jan for 9 nts in August 2012. We were 6 adults (4 kids f/ 17 to 23). A 3 rooms house would have been better but 2 of our kids did not suffer in the convertible sofa of the living room in front of the best TV (TV is also available in each of the 2 rooms). We selected this studying the Big Island climate ensuring the best weather (dryest piece of coast) and immediate driving vincinity of the nicests beaches. Among other condo units, this one had best pictures (decoration) and position in front of a nicest pool (25 meters long !), warm jacuzi and BBQ (ideal after a hike or a snorkling). We found the house matching perfectly the description, even better in reality than on pictures. Equipment is very complete and of good quality (very silent dishwasher, coolbox, fins and masks, tennis rackets and balls...). Availability of basic cooking ingredients left from previous people was much appreciated (salt, pepper, vinegar, spices, coffee ...): we used those and added few more items. Exchanges with the owner were very useful to prepare and optimize our stay. In addition to the top things to do in Big Island that anyone can find on the net, at immediate proximity of Waikoloa, we enjoyed very much: (1) Mauna Lani Beach between ocean & fishing pounds, take Mauna Lani dr and go straight at main roundabout to park your car on the public parking on the left and then walk 5 mn across lavas and then between tropical ponds and hotel buildings to share this paradise with hotel guests), (2) the Puako Beach: take Puako Beach drive pasing in front of a serie of nice beach houses and find one of the several beach assess paths to reach the coast. This mix of rocks and sandy area is the best spot to find sleeping green turtles: ideal for close-up pictures. You will see for sure at least 10 turtles, sleeping or swimming is natural pools, you may swim with them but please do not touch or disturb the sleeping ones). (3) the Mauna Kea beach: located just North of the famous Hapuna beach, it is a less crowded nice alternative (very quiet waters for little ones). You have to stop at the gate of the hotel complex to obtain a parking authorisation (granted to the first 40 cars: you have to arrive before 9:30 am to ensure availability). (4) the Mauna Lani beach club restaurant: again, take Mauna Lani dr, turn left at roundabout, at the road end on right gate is open from 4 pm and you may use the private beach before romantic diner under torches.

  Our Grandson graduated from high school and this was his gift. 10 wonderful day in Hawaii. We all had a very enjoyable time and saw the whole island. Pictures were great and the island has a different look wherever you go. The condo was the best and central to everything. Tennis court out the front door and pool in the back yard. BBQ's were close by too. Free internet was a great bonus. Condo was a great value for what we got. We would go back again for the next grandchilds gift.

  This is our second time staying in this condo complex. It is very nice and located close to many things. The condo itself was well situated and close to the pool. We are not fond of carpeting in a tropical climate but that is personal preference. The main living area and some bedrooms had older shag style carpeting. There was the odd small issue but the owner was in contact with us and responded immediately to our needs. He was very helpful, calling shortly after we arrived to establish contact and was easy to reach when needed. The Condo was fully stocked as per the ad and we were very satisfied. Lastly, we avoided the recommendation of the local restaurant (Roy's) until our last day. If you enjoy fine dining (very good food, but not a lot of it), make sure you check it out sooner as it was extremely good.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

  This was one of the best vacations our family has ever had. The condo was as excellent as was advertized. The location was good (easy access from airport, easy access to wonderful beaches, resort shopping, and groceries) and the property was impeccably well kept. The condo was modern, well-appointed, and had everything we needed (including kitchenware, boogie boards, fins, a cooler for the beach, enough ice in the freezer each day that we didn't have to purchase extra). The pool and spa was very conveniently located and was enjoyable for kids and adults alike. My kids, my husband, and I are all looking forward to a return trip!

  Wonderful stay at this Condo....very quiet and Kevin was always available to answer any questions that we had. I am a pool person and this unit is perfect....a few steps away.....Close to all amenities....golf,shopping,etc.....Great unit for couples lots of privacy.....We had friends stay with us and they had there own bed and bath.....Kevin pays attention to details.....lots of spices in kitchen and a light outside to help you when you arrive late at night.....trust me it is dark.....
