It is centrally located on the Kohala coast with the best beaches and weather on Hawaii's Big Island, not the same as Waikoloa Village, 8 miles inland.

SOPHISTICATED, UPSCALE DECOR

Our villa is a contemporary expression of aloha, furnished with an island flavor in warm inviting colors. Original artwork, live orchids, granite, marble, and quality, kid-friendly furniture with vintage Hawaiian print fabrics create a beautiful relaxing environment. We furnish high speed Internet access, 3 flat screen TVs, VCR, DVD & CD players. On those balmy 75-degree days let ceiling fans stir the air with breezes off the ocean or use air-conditioning.

Nineteen foot ceilings in the living room, soaring windows, and unique architectural details give our Hawaiian styled townhouse a rare sense of individuality and comfort. New in 2004, it is set among acres of tropical Hawaiian landscaping with over 250 palms. Waikoloa Colony Villas is the least dense complex in the Waikoloa Beach Resort.

Prepare fresh fish and local fruit from Kona's Farmers' Market in your own well-equipped, chef's kitchen or dine at world-class local restaurants.

Privacy is ensured with two bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bath. In addition this larger unit has an extra half bath on the ground level. The master bedroom has waterfall and pool views and a large lanai with teak recliners. Handsome giant bamboo furniture includes a king bed with quality linens. A spacious master bath has marble counters, twin sinks, a soaking tub, and separate shower.

The charming second bedroom has a king bed, convertible to twins. Additional guests are accommodated with a comfortable sofa bed or a child's inflatable air mattress.

At Waikoloa Colony Villas play tennis, workout at the air-conditioned gym or relax at the stunning pools with gas BBQs. The pools features a unique lava rock waterfall, spa, or an 18" deep toddlers' area.

Waikoloa Beach Resort is a destination resort centrally located on the Kohala Coast 18 miles north of Kona Airport with the Big Island’s best beaches and weather. It is designed around beautiful, palm-studded Anaehoomalu Bay or A Bay, two terrific golf courses and two fantastic shopping and entertainment centers.

Crescent-shaped A Bay offers a pristine sandy beach with sports activities and rentals, shoreline paths, a giant turtle refuge and ancient royal fishponds, 5 minutes away. Nearby at the world-famous Hilton DolphinQuest you can swim with 25 dolphins for a fee or just watch the fun at no charge.

Kings’ Shops has 75,000 sq ft of restaurants, Roy's, Merrimans, upscale shops & Hawaiian entertainment. The 135,000 sq ft Queens MarketPlace is a Hawaiian lifestyle shopping, dining, a gourmet food market & Waikoloa Performance Garden showcasing live music, film festivals and cultural events.

Why the Owner Chose Waikoloa Colony Villas

Hawaiian history and aloha spirit are abundant on Hawaii's unspoiled Big Island. We love the diversity, natural beauty and incredible weather. Waikoloa Beach Resort has the most central location, the best beaches and weather on the island. Within the resort, we chose the Waikoloa Colony Villas for their superior spaciousness, architectural design including garages and more open area and landscaping per unit than others.

The Unique Benefits at this Townhouse

    • Hale Wailele was a very lovely rental. Very convenient, since the pool was just behind the condo. Very relaxing. Loved that there were bar-b ques in the pool area for us to cook while the kids went swimming. Enjoyed the company of other residents/visitors in the area. Very nice people. My kids loved it and called it their "KONA HOME". It was just what we needed. A 'Home away from Home'. Can't wait to come back again next year! Mahalo nui loa! p.s. I really LOVE LOVE LOVE the kitchen! Stayed in there most of our time at the rental! ~Ka`ili

Yes, we loved your villa at Waikaloa, and will definitely be back...it was one of the most well appointed vacation units we've stayed in, and it made our trip to Kona for our son's wedding really nice.

    • We certainly enjoyed staying at Kat and Derry's. We loved having the pool at our back door. Kat was so helpful in finding us a company that could provide us with baby furniture. Our only disappointment was that we had to leave the lovely condo and beautiful weather, but all holidays come to an end. Thanks Kat and Derry.

    • This is an exceptional condo with great views. The Condo is very clean and is stocked with everything you need. Shopping is really close. Hapuna Beach is right down the road 5 miles. Beautiful beaches. The marriot and other beaches are with walking distance and offer great views and snorkeling. All beach gear is stocked and plenty of it. I would recommend to anyone.....

    • We just returned from a six week stay at Hale Wailele...we couldn't have been more pleased. The condo is so well stocked, very comfortable. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, as are the two pools. We really loved having a garage! I would recommend this condo to anyone, I have nothing but compliments.

    • Hi Kat, Thanks so much for the use of the townhouse. We had a wonderful time! My only wish is that we could have stayed even longer.... I truly felt at home and didn't lack for anything. We were very surprised to see everything needed for snorkeling even though we brought our own gear. Kids were happy with 2 new boogyboards waiting for their use when we arrived also! We would definitely recommend your place to friends. The location was perfect by the pool and workout room and bbq which we used all. Thanks again Kat....it was a great trip! Warmly, Lance and Lisa Zurfluh

Thanks for letting us take a comfortable break on the sunnier side of the island. It’s been raining in Hilo since Christmas Eve, but Waikoloa was just lovely. We appreciated your well-equipped condo. We’ve stayed at many condos, but yours was one of the best. As many of your reviewers said, “it has everything you need!” We will recommend your place to friends and relatives. Restaurant tips: 1) Sansei in Queen’s Marketplace has 50% off until 6 PM on Sun. & Mon. Sushi was excellent. (We got there at 4:30 PM and there was already a line. They say 50% off for Kama'aina (locals) & 25% for everyone else, but they seemed to give everyone the same discount.) 2) Fish burrito at Killer Tacos in Kailua-Kona (recommended by Hawaii Revealed) was excellent – all for $5.49. Even us locals discovered & experienced new things, thanks to you.

We said we'd be back & we are!! We are sitting here on the lanai on our last evening drinking up the champange before we pack to go home. The villa is still fabulous - everything you could want & more. We really relaxed on this holiday, spending more time around the pool to 'chill out'. We managed to find more fabulous beaches: Beach 69 - we would recommend to everyone. It has fabulous sand, calm sea & shade. Kua Beach - soft sand, gently sloping into the sea - take the umbrella; there's no shade. Kiholo Bay - great scenery & very peaceful. Kekaha Kai Beach - Don't try to get there unless you have a 4 WD. But well worth it if you go. For great food, try Steve & Dave's Beach Grill - the tapas menu is suberb. Try Lulu's in Kona - the menu makes you laugh. And yes, we will be back again.

    • Kat, Hale Wailele #2004 is a wonderful townhouse with everything one could need away from home. It's home away from home, but in paradise. We'll definitely stay there again next time we're on the BI. Thanks, Eric & family
