Romantic 80 square meter three-room apartment on the top floor of former "Hotel Particulier" in private square. Extraordinary 25-square meter open air rooftop terrace, planted with ivy and flowers, and surrounded by trellising. Tip of Eiffel Tower visible through trees from terrace, esp. in winter. Apartment furnishings are a combination of antiques and reproductions.

Known for the purity of its water, this part of Paris was a "spa" area during the 18th century, favored by Benjamin Franklin and Balzac. In our quiet private square is the Musée du Vin wine museum, which is open to the public and hosts occasional wine-appreciation classes.

Both the newly redecorated living room and separate dining room open, via French doors, onto a private 25 meter square terrace, which is planted with ivy and flowers. The dining room table seats six and there is a table for 4 on the terrace. Dine under the stars in good weather. The large (approx. 24 sq. meters) bedroom features an American king-size bed and lots of closet space. There is a twin-size bed in the tented-ceiling dining room, set up as a daybed. The apartment is light, airy and quiet - all of which are rare in Paris. The Eiffel Tower is just a block and a half away, across the Seine. NO elevator or concierge are in the building. One flight of stairs leads up to front door of the building (intercom/safety lock), two flights of steps inside building. This apartment is perfect for a couple or for couple with a well-behaved child (but not for a baby). Four people cannot be accommodated. No smoking, please, and no pets.

Prefer 5-night minimum stay and six months maximum stay but will consider other time periods.
