Winter walk is a much sought after property offering a spacious interior and unique amenities. Enjoy watching skiers as you sit on the large front deck overlooking the ski base. Winter Walk is located in peaceful Old Town Winter Park, so you can either walk to the lifts or take a free shuttle for a quick two-minute ride to the Village at Winter Park Resort.
The non-smoking unit has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room with a queen sized sofa sleeper. Cozy up to a warm moss rock gas log fireplace after skiing, while checking out the spectacular views of the ski area or soak in the private, 6 person, hot tub or enjoy the steam room. Cable TV. VCR, DVD and stereo system are all in an open planned area with access to a south-facing deck with a great view of the ski slopes.
The 2 bedrooms each have one Queen sized bed, the living room has a queen sized sleeper, the Den has a queen sized sleeper, TV and wet bar, and the loft has a queen sized futon. Two 3/4 bathrooms are easily accessible on each floor.
The lower floor has the best amenities of the unit consisting of an indoor private 6-person hot tub, steam room, shower, bathroom and washer and dryer.

Relax after an invigorating day of skiing, or summer mountain biking, and enjoy all of the resort village festivities within walking distance. (1/4 mile) This includes concerts, and entertainment events from the village plaza. The resort village also offers several attractions including Trestle, one of North America's largest mountain bike parks, an alpine slide, mini golf, human maze, zip line, gyro extreme, disc golf, rock climbing wall, bungee trampolines, gold panning, bouncy house, and a new downhill tubing track, with a ride back up. What's more, you only a couple of miles from all the great local ships, restaurants, recreation center, sledding and tubing hills in downtown Winter Park! Enjoy golf with 3 first class mountain golf courses within minutes.

Year Purchased: 1983
About the owner: Our family loved skiing and my brother and I built Winter Walk in 1983 for our families and now our grandchildren. I grew up in Denver Colorado and have lived here all of my life. Winter Park is a great family area with activities for all age groups. Our children love the area and our grandchildren love to come up to Winter Walk to ski or enjoy the summer activities.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Old Town:
My siblings and I grew up as members of the Eskimo ski club and our love of skiing and the mountains resulted in our family buying the land and later building Winter Walk. It was one of the best investments we ever made in having a place to spend with family and friends.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Location and proximity to the ski area is a wonderful benefit. It's an easy walk to the ski area or jump on your bike and enjoy the excellent bike trails or as a golfer play one of several outstanding mountain courses. We also wanted a home we could return to and soak in the hot tub, BBQ on the front deck or take a steam bath to relax after a full day of activities. Talking walks and enjoying the wildlife add to every visit we make. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
