We were winter guests at this house and enjoyed it immensely. It is a lovely house with an excellent layout. It also has a nice updated kitchen well stocked with equipment.

We had a great time! My niece 6yr and nephew 3yr, loved their room with lots of toys. My husband also loved the Tahoe Donner Cross Country ( it was about 5 mins away from the house and saved some $$ with a guest card). Our two shy kittens had a great time with us. I was in charge of cooking and the kitchen equipments were great and we were also very close to the grocery stores so it was very easy for me to get things asap. We will come back for more for sure! Some of my pet loving friends are considering this cozy cabin in near future. Danke!

Stayed a few days this President's week and had a lovely time. There were 2 cable TV's which is hard to come by, plus an internet connection. We have two toddlers and the home was perfect for them, plus two older kids who enjoyed the Tahoe Donner Ski area. It was a great stay and I'm sure we'll return again. Bob & Kathleen were great hosts and always an email away.

Property was cozy, comfortable, in excellent condition, exactly as described, and Bob was a pleasure to work with. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

The name Cozy Hide-Away in the Pines says it all! Our family enjoyed the comfortable home in such a beautiful setting in the winter wonderland. The house is pretty and the owner provides great communication. We're looking forward to coming back for a summertime break near the lake.

What a setting! The house is beautiful. It has everything you could possibly need. If you need anything (very unlikely!) you are close to town and shops -- even though you feel like you are in a remote, quiet, vacation paradise. This hide-away gets an A+ from me.
