Beautifully finished 2 story home with open-air rancho over-looking pool and ocean views. Large master suite upstairs with oversize deck for enjoying panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. 2 spacious bedrooms on 1st floor with shared bathroom. Great kitchen with all appliances, opens to living room/entertainment area. Air conditioning available in bedrooms and great airflow throughout the rest of the home. The home is located a short walk from the quiet community of Aserradores, where there are a couple of typical local-style restaurants and small stores. It is a wonderful place to wander around and experience first hand how friendly and welcoming the Nicaraguan people are. Hotel Chancletas, located only 100 meters away, is a good spot to grab some food and drinks and mingle with fellow travelers. Various other services are on offer there as well, including massages, horse, bicycle, & kayak rentals, and various day-trip tours. The beautiful beach is an easy five minute walk and offers quality surfing and fishing. There is also a small marina in the town where a panga (boat) could be hired for fishing, an estuary cruise, or beach exploration. For such a quiet little town, there will be plenty of activities to keep you busy--if you can manage to get yourself up and out of that hammock! And also, if you need any assistance, there is a caretaker family in the little house next door that will keep everything nice and clean for you and help with any questions you might have. Enjoy!

My wife and I went for a week at the end of Nov. and it was such an amazing trip. Weather was perfect. We stayed at this really nice house. You can see the photos below. Such an amazing view of the ocean to your west and at dawn you can watch the sunrise over the volcano. The house was built with a lot of detail. Very good craftsmanship. Beds are cozy. Hammocks all around for those afternoon naps! It's very close to the hotel so you can walk and get food, but you can also buy your own food in town. It has a refrigerator and all the cooking utilities you will need. My wife and I had the time of our life. We can't wait to get back there with our kids.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

LOVED staying at this place. Outside of the main cities, it's a great escape for people looking for a safe, relaxing Nicaraguan experience. The house is clean, spacious, and beautiful - perfect for a group of friends or a family vacation. The location of the house is just a quick walk from a beautiful open beach, and a great little restaurant (with AMAZING Banana Pancakes I might add) owned by very friendly, helpful locals. Around the property are lots of open areas for kids to run around and play and it is located in a very safe gated community off of the main road. It was also just a short walk to the cute little town nearby where you can charter a boat to take you out to explore other beaches and islands. We chartered a boat that took us to a completely secluded beach with INCREDIBLE seashells as far as the eye could see. The hammocks around the house are perfect for napping in after a day of playing in the surf, or if you want to go inside the nice air conditioned house you can play games in the open living room area while you cool off. Staying here feels like you are in beautiful, undiscovered Nicaragua - still untouched by tourism, technology, and time. Worth the trip!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
