My husband and I went to Bend for a weekend getaway and the Zwicklemania craft brewery tour on President's Day weekend. This condo was perfect for us and would also be great for a small family. This place really is walking distance to downtown Bend. It is less than a 10 minute walk to restaurants and brewerys in the cute old downtown area of Bend. For a more scenic walk, you can also take the pathway along the Deschutes River to the downtown area. Though we drove to Bend, after arriving at the condo, we didn't use our car at all except to drive to Mt. Bachelor to go skiing. The condo itself is very clean and nicely furnished. It is in a quiet condominium complex. The king-size bed is comfortable with good quality sheets. The towels provided are soft, thick and absorbent. The owner, Jodelle, is helpful and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
